This legendary ghost town is located in the San Zhi area of Taipei City, Taiwan. UFO houses began to be built in 1978. The unusual complex was conceived as a resort for American military personnel who were stationed in East Asia. But the construction of the resort had to be stopped in 1980. According to one version, this happened due to the financial insolvency of the project.
Other versions are more mystical. Once during construction, a nearby Chinese dragon sculpture was damaged. After that, the number of deaths at the construction site increased sharply, as if the Chinese shrine began to take revenge. According to another version, ghosts were to blame for everything: historians have established that this place once was an old mass grave of Dutch soldiers, which appeared after the Netherlands made Taiwan its colony in 1624. One way or another, construction work was stopped, and the "alien" resort was abandoned, turning into a mystical ghost town.
