In Kazakhstan, there is an interesting cultural monument, a mausoleum named after the poet and philosopher Khoja Ahmed Yasavi.
I will not write in detail about the history of this object - the official information can be found in the same wikipedia.
I will focus on one piece of information that appeared on the facebook social network:
The author reports that they are changing the tiles at the mausoleum to marble. Part of the mosaic floors from the territory of the mausoleum came to him and he noticed this trace in the stone.
Promotional video:
Yes, indeed, the area around the complex was previously paved with tiled mosaics.
Let's return to the observation from the news and consider the photos of this footprint in stone:
The footprint is like a boot print with a heel in concrete. But the color is not gray, but with a reddish tint. Could it be a restoration material? But the tiles in the photo look like flagstone rocks with different shades.
The boot is approximately 42-44 sizes. But why is the footprint so curved?
Note that flagstone has two layers: gray and reddish. Those. it is likely that the top layer is an artificial composition that mimics rock, artificial sandstone.
What thoughts can there be? Of course, ideally, the owner of the find should analyze the limestone rock and then everything will become clear. For now, we can only guess.
At the beginning of the 20th century. the mausoleum was in this state:

The current state of the walls and masonry.
It is possible that during the restoration, the workers poured some area in the tile mosaic (or simply poured a layer on the stone) and one of the workers stepped into this solution. But then it turns out that the restorers possessed the secret of artificial stone?
Another option in line with the hypothesis about the outcrops of plastic masses: this material is really from the mountains and a trace was left in it when the rock was liquid.
Layered stones of Lake Bele, Khakassia.
For example, there was such a layer by layer of flowing material that formed layered stones. They were taken apart into flagstones and a trace was found in one of the layers. And this was once a man, whose footprints were covered by the next stream of mud (cold fluidolites) coming out of the depths of the mud volcano.
