A strange outgoing sound from the Caribbean Sea was recorded by scientists in the UK. This phenomenon, in their opinion, will affect future climate change.
So, while observing the dynamics of the ocean, scientists from the University of Liverpool noticed a strange noise, it was so strong that it was possible to record it from space.
Previously, researchers have not observed such phenomena, and since the Caribbean Sea is an extremely important place in the global circulation belt, currents that feed the Gulf Stream are formed there. To predict future climate change, scientists are analyzing the flow of cold and hot water around the planet.
“This phenomenon, which we describe as whistling, can change sea level within 10 centimeters along the Venezuelan and Colombian coasts, so understanding the new phenomenon will help us predict the likelihood of flooding,” the scientists noted.
