14-month-old British Siamese twins Jadon and Anias MacDonald were born with fused heads. Such twins are called craniopagas, they are born very rarely, about 2% of the total number of Siamese twins. Even more rarely, successful operations to separate them.
Jadon and Anias were separated from each other on October 13 in a lengthy 27-hour operation. Two months later, the condition of each of the boys is stable and progressive, and although Anias is recovering more slowly than his brother, the British tabloid Daily Mail has already called the brothers' recovery process the fastest in history for this kind of surgery.
After operation
The other day, the boys' mother Nicole MacDonald published a new video with the twins. In the video, Jadon and Anias are lying side by side on the bed and the postoperative fixation bandage has already been removed from Jadon's head. The boys "talk" to each other, and before the operation they could not look each other in the eyes due to the peculiarity of the fusion of their heads.
“My heart continues to grow to contain all the love that you create inside me,” Nicole says and recalls with sadness how some evil commentators on the Internet spoke badly about her boys, calling for abortions for the like.
- I am sorry for these people with evil hearts.

Jadon and Anias are now recovering at a rehabilitation center, where they were transferred six weeks after surgery, when it became clear that the threat to the lives of children was no longer there. This turned out to be the fastest recovery process for the separated craniopagus. The previous record was eight weeks.
Jadon is already quite active and almost ready to return to normal life.
The operation to separate the craniopagus twins was performed at New York's Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx and cost $ 2.5 million.
