Geoglyphs are called huge images and drawings made on earth by representatives of extinct civilizations. The oldest, largest and most bizarre of these is located in the Atacama Desert in Chile. It is noteworthy that, due to its colossal size, it can only be seen from an airplane or helicopter, but how could ancient people build such a huge drawing, moreover, ideally symmetrical in shape?
The Atacama giant reaches a height of almost a hundred meters and is approximately 9,000 years old. At the same time, the origin and interpretation of the image still causes a lot of controversy among scientists and historians. The drawing represents a silhouette of a person, however, it stands out with a square head, from which symmetrical rays emanate up, left and right. Most historians believe that ancient people with the help of this giant calculated the seasons and cycles for growing vegetables and fruits, but how they could do this - scientists find it difficult to answer.
However, some scholars are inclined to believe that the Atacama giant was a deity worshiped by the locals. This theory is supported by the colossal size of the image and its clearly inhuman appearance. Scientists believe that this drawing was a kind of marking of the area for representatives of other worlds who visited Earth in the distant past. Probably, it was they who helped the ancient people to build this bizarre image.
