It turns out that the head of the Clinton election campaign is seriously into ufology. In one of the letters from the next batch of WikiLeaks publications, a certain Bob Fish, one of the trustees of the USS Hornet aircraft carrier museum and the author of a book about the operation to lift the capsule of the Apollo 11 spacecraft after returning from the Moon, addresses the head of Hillary Clinton's campaign headquarters to John Podesta. In it, Fish asks Podesta for help with collecting specific UFO data, hinting at his connections in Washington.

“Scattered evidence, fuzzy photographs and crop circles can never be credible evidence, especially given the transient nature of the UFO phenomenon and the link to the state of mind of eyewitnesses. The collection and study of objective scientific data obtained with the help of accurate and reliable instruments is required. In the United States, such information has been stored for many years, and it can be obtained if you know "what to look for" and "where to look," Fish writes in a letter posted on the WikiLeaks website.

This is by no means the only case of Podesta's correspondence with ufologists and paranormal research enthusiasts. Thus, the WikiLeaks portal published two letters received by Clinton's associate from astronaut Edgar Mitchell, a member of the Apollo 14 expedition. In them, Mitchell discusses some "zero-energy technologies" that "aliens from an adjacent universe" are ready to provide to earthlings in case of refusal of the arms race. The content of the letter RT has already cited earlier.

John Podesta also received two letters from musician Tom Delong, one of the founders of the famous rock band Blink 182. In them, the musician informs the politician that he can arrange a meeting with "very important persons" who can share secret information about UFOs.

“I want to bring two very 'important' people to your meeting in Washington. I think they will interest you, as they are the leaders in projects related to our sensitive topic. Both stood at the head of highly responsible units dealing with secret scientific developments and projects of the Ministry of Defense. In other words, they are Category A officials,”writes DeLonge.

However, the interest of the leading political strategist Hillary Clinton to the UFO issue is not limited to this.

In 2002, Podesta supported a lawsuit by the Freedom of Information Coalition, in which community activists demanded the release of information related to the alleged UFO crash in Kexburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1965.

Also, Podesta, being an adviser to Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, actively supported the publication of materials on the study of the UFO phenomenon collected at different times by the US government.

Prior to his political career, John Podesta was the chief lobbyist for the Electronic Communications Association, a group that represented companies in the nascent Internet industry in the 1980s, prior to the establishment of the WWW system. It included companies such as Prodigy, Compuserve, Lotus, Netscape, and America On-Line.

Recall that in January 2016, the CIA published on its website a number of documents shedding light on the investigations of the 1940s and 1950s related to UFOs.
