Reports of recent and old UFO sightings continue to come to Cosmopoisk. Some of them are receiving special attention, such as the recent series of July observations in Tula, where representatives of the association traveled to collect additional information and monitor the sky at night.
On July 14, 2018, Kosmopoisk received a message from Tula about a UFO sighting with the following content: “For the second day in a row, something incomprehensible in the sky is happening over my balcony, we see a strange space object all over the house, there are real pictures, we contacted local newspaper, but indeed on that day eyewitnesses also called them, I really feel unpleasant and scared!"
According to an eyewitness, the objects were observed on July 15 and 16, 2018. There were three observations in total in different places of the city. One of them (the brightest) was observed at about 2.30 am. An eyewitness noted: "I now clearly saw it, it was an elongated dome, the man saw how a bright strong glow, from which bright rays came, this, I think, in the direction of Osinovaya Gora." At the same time, one of the "glow" flew away slowly, another object moved with lightning speed, the third hung low, and then, "blinking slowly", began to move. Observations were carried out from 2.30 to 3.00. Photos were attached to the messages.

In connection with the receipt of these messages, it was decided to expeditiously leave for Tula in order to understand the situation on the spot and try, if possible, to make photo and video filming of the observed objects.
On July 17, 2018, a trip took place, in which Vladimir Emelyanov (Obninsk-Kosmopoisk) and Vladimir Kukolnikov (Moscow Region-Kosmopoisk) took part. We met and interviewed the eyewitness L. (a pensioner, two higher educations) at the site of observation of objects on the street. Metallurgists in Tula.
L. reported literally the following. On Friday, July 13, 2018, at about 22.30, I went out onto the balcony and saw a luminous object larger than the moon. The shape resembled an inverted cap with a rounded top. The body of the object was faintly glowing, and bright crosses were visible on it, which were located in belts, repeating a round shape, decreasing in size closer to the top. The eyewitness called the light crosses windows (Fig. 1).

In the lower part of the object was located, according to L., a belt with "spotlights", which glowed brightly against the background of the dimmer light of the main "body" of the object. The direction of the UFO sighting is to the south, 30-40 degrees above the horizon, just above the roofs of five-story buildings located across the street in the direction of observation.

After some time, which the eyewitness finds it difficult to name, an object of a smaller size flew from the southeast to the "big" one and, having made some movements near it, flew away in a northwest direction. The shape of the "small" object was absolutely identical to the shape of the "big brother", only smaller in size, approximately four times.
The situation was repeated for the next three nights, with a difference in the description of the "large" object, when at the bottom of the latter there were flashes of light and rays of red, as well as green.
Due to certain emotional consequences of the observations, the eyewitness could not accurately recall the details of the observations, namely: on what days some of them passed and how the objects behaved on the days of observation.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, in the period from 13 to 16 July, the weather was mostly cloudy with light rains, temperature fluctuations in the range from 19 to 26 degrees, the wind speed was 2-3 meters per second.
According to L., on July 16, 2018, she called an acquaintance to look out the window and look at an object located in the south-west direction. At our request, L. contacted V., who lives on ul. Priupskaya, and made an appointment with him at the place of observation of the object.
V. said that on July 16, 2018 at about 2.30 am an acquaintance of L. called him and asked to look out the window. In the direction of the southwest, a star shone brightly, around which a red halo, about a quarter of the moon in size, was outlined. The picture shown to him, taken that night by eyewitness L. (see above), fully corresponded to his observation.

Taking into account the information received from eyewitnesses, Vladimir Emelyanov chose a place for shooting on the roof of a garage of a large garage array, from which an open panorama opened in the south-south-west direction.
On July 17, at 23.15, eyewitness L. phoned and said that she was observing a bright red object low above the horizon, which flared up and then went out.
While they were assembling the video complex for filming, they visually discovered the star-shaped object of red color mentioned by the eyewitness, which, against the background of the sky covered with clouds, shone brightly against a dark background, and indeed, it faded away, then reappeared in the sky.

A bright red round disc appeared on the monitor screen of the video complex. According to our preliminary estimates, the object moved across the monitor screen at a speed corresponding to the speed of the Earth's movement, and this left no doubt that we were facing the planet Mars, which, due to high clouds, either appeared or went behind the clouds. Observations of Mars in 2018 are exceptional due to a special astronomical phenomenon - the Great Opposition of Mars, when the Earth and Mars are at a minimum distance from each other.

Thus, the contradictory information received from the eyewitness L. does not give grounds for identifying the objects described by her as anomalous, although it cannot be completely ruled out that in some of the evenings he could observe an object that was not the planet Mars. However, no other eyewitnesses to her observations have yet been found, although we clarified this issue on Tula TV and local media. Some information will still be supplemented, in particular, until it was possible to find the newspaper to which eyewitnesses applied.
