Experts cannot determine which animal killed a six-year-old resident of the village of Morachevo at the end of January, the regional Investigative Committee said. Recall that on the evening of January 20, 2014, residents of the village of Morachevo, Zhiryatinsky District, Bryansk Region, residents found the body of a 6-year-old boy with bite marks and lacerations.
From the parents, who were in a state of severe intoxication, the investigators managed to obtain only information that the child had left home alone and disappeared. The locals who found him were horrified by what they saw: the boy's clothes were torn and bloodied, and there were numerous lacerations and bite marks on his body.
The strangest thing in this story is that at the site of the tragedy, traces of ten centimeters in diameter were found. What kind of beast is this, the experts still cannot figure it out. According to some assumptions, this is a dog, others are inclined to believe that a wild beast was involved in the boy's death.
According to the results of the biological examination, it was found that the saliva particles found on the body of the deceased most likely belong to a member of the canine family, in this case, a dog or a wolf. But experts cannot say for sure.
Meanwhile, the TV-3 channel, known for its love of mysticism, put forward a version that the boy was attacked by a beast unknown to science. Although immediately after the tragedy, policemen, hunters, gamekeepers and representatives of the village administration combed the forest, they could not find any signs of the presence of an unknown animal.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident. If it turns out that the dog is guilty of the tragedy, then its owner will be punished. If it turns out that the boy was torn to pieces by a wolf, then this is qualified as an accident.
