In 1989-1990, many people vacationing in the Baltics, on the Riga seaside, had original markings on their skin.
As a rule, these were branch-like patterns with several wide leaves, obtained by the method of moxibustion.
On the body, they stood out due to a noticeable reddening of the skin. Basically, these marks were located on the back, shoulders, chest. Sometimes their owners experienced slight painful sensations: tingling, itching, burning. After five or seven days, the drawings disappeared without a trace.
The fathers of science, who did not recognize "miracles", then came up with a very simple explanation - contact with a cow parsnip, which can cause burns. One could accept such a version, but … the drawings resembled plants in an extremely flat state, as in a herbarium. In addition, the drawings appeared in people who did not leave the premises at all.
Many, perhaps, still remember the publication in a number of central newspapers about a girl from Turkmenistan. When she was alone in the apartment, a spherical UFO hovered over the window, a woman came out of it, entered the room and invited the girl to fly to another planet.
She was very frightened and lost consciousness, and when she woke up, she found on her leg, above the knee, a drawing of a "man" in the rays of the sun. As shown by special studies, the drawing was made by embossing, and it turned out to be impossible to erase it or somehow withdraw it.
Mysterious marks also appeared among the inhabitants of Kostroma and, apparently, had nothing to do with plants or the intrigues of the so-called aliens.
On January 29, 1993, Andrei A., a resident of Kostroma, had to work hard: he bought an old cab and moved it to the garden. I returned home late, tired and dirty. Hastily supper, washed and went to bed. Toward morning, Andrei saw a very colorful, colorful dream: he is, as it were, inside a limited, closed space, where everything is flooded with bright iridescent light.

Luscious emerald greens, bushes, trees, magnificent flowers of unusual shapes and unprecedented colors. They were too large, did not look earthly. A monotonous female voice came from somewhere:
- On the fourth day, on the fourth day …
I woke up, got up, went to wash. I looked at my hands and saw … On the inner surface of the elbow joint of my right hand, a very intricate blue-green pattern stood out: a plate turned upside down, about three centimeters long and 0.8 centimeters high.
In the lower part, on the right, the number "1" seems to be attached, also "upside down". Its height was 0.5 centimeters and its width was about one millimeter. At the bottom, a ring with a diameter of about 1.2 millimeters adjoined it. To the left of the "one" a multitude of thinnest wavy lines emanated from the plate, some of them bent to the right and passed through the ring.
At the top, a line one millimeter thick emerged from the inverted bottom of the plate. It wrapped a spiral around the hand up to the wrist.
Andrey looked at his left hand, and there was the same drawing, as if his mirror image. He showed everything to his wife - there was no limit to surprise. Let's clarify - Andrei did not experience any unpleasant sensations, it seemed that everything was drawn. Rubbed by hand - does not rub off. I poured water on my elbows - everything was instantly washed off! Aniline or watercolor paints are washed off so easily and quickly.
That's the whole story. By the way, on the fourth day nothing significant happened, and whether the dream had anything to do with the drawings - who knows?
And here is another curious case. It happened in the village of Ikonnikovo, Krasnoselsky district, Kostroma region. On the morning of June 16, Nikolai Vasilyevich S., as usual, undressed to the waist, rubbed himself with a terry towel, abundantly moistened with cold well water. His wife came up and gasped.
- Nikolay, who has attached a cross on your back ?!
Then she sat down on the sofa and cried.
- Not for good!
And Nikolai Vasilyevich moved the panes of the pier glass at an angle and looked at the "miracle". Yes, he had a natural cross on his back. The impression was that N. V. on the beach he lay down on his stomach, bare his back, and some joker put a cross cut out of paper on it. N. V. I lay down, my back was tanned, and where the cross was laid there was a white trace.
But there was nothing of the kind. Nikolai Vasilievich is 58 years old, he is a disabled person of the second group (ischemic heart disease), it seems that he has no time for sunburn.
All the villagers, their relatives, who came from the city for the weekend, came to marvel at the wonderful image. N. V. I did not refuse anyone, rolled my shirt on my shoulder blades: here, they say, look, I wear my cross myself!
At the suggestion of some skeptics to go to the doctor or where to go to display the drawing, he refused:
- Doesn't interfere, it's not hard to wear!
Indeed, frankly speaking, the cross did not cause much anxiety or inconvenience: this place did not hurt, did not itch, there was no burning sensation or itching. Five or six days passed, and the cross faded, the difference in color between it and the rest of the skin diminished, the cross began to merge with it, as it were, and then disappeared altogether.
The next story happened to a young woman, Anna K., who lives in the town of Manturovo (Kostroma region). Anna on January 26, 1996 came to V. Dyachkov (as she explained, “by an emergency”) and this is what she said.
She does not work, she takes care of the house and children. Family life has developed quite successfully, there are no special deviations in health. She is interested in abnormal phenomena, reads various publications of this kind in newspapers with pleasure, watches TV programs, but she does not trust many things. She herself had never seen any "miracles".
At the end of October 1995, she had a dream in which she saw a young, tall, very slender and beautiful woman dressed in something black and long. Clothes emphasized a thin, wasp, waist and lush, wide hips. The face is elongated, huge dark brown eyes, the hair is combed back, in curls, at shoulder level. Anna clarified that for some reason she perceived the woman as unearthly.
The woman held out her hand and said:
- Take it! We all use this cream!
Anna saw in the palm of the stranger a small jar like the Vietnamese "Star". On the lid, the image was clearly visible: something like a horseshoe or a shovel without a handle. Whether she took the cream or not, she does not remember, and then she woke up.
In the early morning of December 7, Anna felt a sharp burning sensation on her right breast. She got up, went to the mirror and was stunned: just above the nipple, she saw the same image as on the jar of cream. The contours of the drawing were limited by a noticeable reddening of the skin.
Late in the evening this drawing disappeared, but … another appeared, in the same place, of the same size. It looked like a schematic representation of a bird with open wings (as if in flight).
And then miracles began to happen!
In the afternoon of January 8, then on the night of January 23 and the next day, Anna discovered new drawings that appeared and disappeared in succession - the same "bird", deployed in flight each time at different angles, and various additions to it: semi-ellipses, open circles with curled edges, as well as fairly large points on the silhouettes of birds and circles, and broken lines connecting these points.
In all cases, the appearance of drawings was accompanied by a burning sensation, a slight tingling sensation and even a general increase in temperature (from 37.2 to 37.5 ° C). Some weakness and apathy were also felt.
It seems that Anna K. was tested by some other civilization. It is possible that with the help of pictures-symbols some information was transmitted to her, or rather, they tried to convey.
At least three questions immediately arise: who does it, how and why ?!
First of all, drawings, marks and so on are the result of the activities of intelligent beings. And the other two questions have not yet been answered. And the first is formulated so far in the most general form.
