Scientists have discovered an amazing marine organism that can grow a brain in less than four days. Some experts consider the comb jelly to be an alien intelligence for this ability.

Experts from the University of Florida in the course of research found that the simplest animal, which looks like jelly, has a unique nervous system that has no analogues in nature. According to scientists, this feature can be used in the treatment of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

After observing an unusual organism, the researchers found that ctenophores have the ability to grow neurons, and their behavior is much more complex than that of sponges, to which they were previously attributed. Morozov reported that the organisms studied were also capable of regenerating the elemental brain, known as the aboral organ, in just 3.5 days. During one of the experiments, the comb jelly regenerated its brain four times.
