The press center of the University of Montreal shares the relevant information with the readers. This study was conducted by British scientists. Scientists noted that a substance called rapamycin was discovered in the soil of Easter Island about 50 years ago. All this time, the researchers carried out a detailed study of the find, as well as its properties on the human body.
In the course of observations, scientists noticed that rapomycin can have a positive effect on the body as a whole, as well as contribute to its rejuvenation. However, the effect of rejuvenation does not work on a permanent basis and after a while the body returns to its original state. However, scientists intend to further study the properties of rapomycin and use it in special anti-aging agents.
