This story happened to me in 1988. In those days, the Czechoslovak motorcycles "Java" and "Chezet" were very popular. I remember there was a full house in a specialized sports store who wanted to buy these motorcycles.

Dmitry and the same motorcycle. 1988 year

We learned about the import in advance. Long before the store opened, there was already a crowd at the door. But very small parties were brought in, few were the happy owners of iron horses.

As I remember now, a new motorcycle cost one thousand one hundred rubles. I had a dream to have "Cheset" or "Java" from the fifth or sixth grade. I imagined myself racing on a motorcycle along the highway …

And so I found out that a neighbor in the garage is selling a Chezet motorcycle he bought not so long ago and is asking for six hundred rubles. I began to persuade my parents to buy this motorcycle and persuaded.

When the sale and purchase transaction was made, I asked my neighbor why, they say, he sells almost new equipment at such a low price. The answer was:

- Yes, because of him, I have already been to the hospital twice!

Ignoring what was said, I began to sort through, lubricate and tighten the bolts and nuts on the motorcycle. Safely rode it for a little over a week. One day I was driving along the highway. It had rained the day before, the asphalt was already dry, but the plowed field along the road was abundantly wetted with moisture. This is probably what saved me.

The motorcycle's front wheel is suddenly jammed. I flew off the road and fell into a wet, therefore relatively soft plowed field. He got off with fright and a few bruises. After recovering from the fall, he later repaired the motorcycle.

After the repair, literally two or three days passed. The motorcycle was on the center kickstand near the garage, I was nearby. Suddenly one foot of the footboard cracked and broke. The motorcycle fell, crushing and breaking my leg. The result is a hospital and a leg cast.

By the way, I noticed long ago that being in the immediate vicinity of this two-wheeled horse, I feel some kind of inner discomfort. I took motorcycles from my comrades, rode them - everything was fine and without any problems. For a long time I did not dare to sit on my own - I directly physically felt the negative coming from him. After some time, I also sold my ill-fated iron horse.
