In 1974, in Madrid, a book by Fernando Seema was published, but it announced to the world that there had been a contact between humanity and aliens. The book was called "Confessions of an Alien" and was dedicated to the space civilization Ummo.

Alien from brochure

It all began in 1966, when the Spaniard Fernando Seema, at that time a student at the University of Madrid, attended a youth esoteric club. Young people gathered every week in the basement of one of the restaurants and, using various rituals, tried to establish contact with parallel worlds. During these actions, more similar to spiritualistic seances, the inhabitants of a certain planet Ummo, which, according to them, was in the constellation Virgo, contacted them several times. In December of the same year, Seyama wrote and published a small brochure on the Ummo and the Ummites.

Shortly thereafter, a phone call rang at his apartment. The caller stated that he is a resident of the planet Ummo and is allegedly an employee of the Ummo Research Center on Earth. The center has been studying our civilization for over seventy years. However, he expressed his dissatisfaction with some of the provisions contained in the brochure. The Ummite center, added the stranger, decided to correct the inaccuracies and provide Mr. Seem with more reliable information.

Fernando initially took it for a prank, but his amazement increased when he received a voluminous letter in the mail containing information about the planet Ummo. Since then, Fernando Seema has received such reports every second Monday of the month. They came with an accuracy unprecedented for the work of the postal department, which was strange, because, judging by the stamps on the envelopes, they were sent from all over the world, even from the USSR. The latter circumstance later gave skeptics a reason to suspect a KGB provocation in this whole story.

Starships over Madrid

From the letters of Seem I learned that the Ummites outwardly look like people. They are light-haired, on average 30 centimeters taller than earthlings. Their civilization is a united community based on the principles of equality and mutual assistance. All important decisions there are made with the help of a general computer system (like our Internet).

Sometimes the messages were illustrated with primitive pencil drawings, which one might think were made by a three-year-old child. Seema was surprised to learn that the inhabitants of Ummo have no fine arts, no fiction, no music. All this is replaced by technical intelligence.

Beginning in the second half of 1967, the Ummites stopped sending Seema reports, and began to simply dictate information over the phone. Seema hired several stenographers who took turns writing down what they heard. One day, by phone, it was reported that on July 1, 1967, an Ummite ship would land in the suburbs of Madrid. Seema reported this to the police, but there his warning was taken for delirium of a madman. Nevertheless, on July 1, the police prefecture and the editors of city newspapers received more than a hundred statements from residents of Madrid and the suburbs, who observed unknown objects in the sky. Later, at the site of the alleged landing of the Ummite ship, they found several cylinders of metal, as it turned out, of extraterrestrial origin, as well as ten long strips of polyvinyl, on which the word "Ummo" was written in Latin letters.

Ummites land troops

The investigation of this incident was taken up by the journalist Antonio Riveira, who was very skeptical about ufology. However, as he got acquainted with the case materials and interviewed eyewitnesses, his view of what was happening began to change. So, he found out that the Ummites had established contact with more than one Fernando Seema. After his first publications, the editorial office began to receive letters from residents of Spain, France and some other countries. These people claimed to be in contact with the Ummites. Some contacts were established back in 1962. In Madrid alone, 65 people received information from the Ummites! By spreading information about themselves, the Ummites, according to their admission, hoped to create the "Effect of habituation" of earthlings to the norms of their civilization, and their ultimate goal was the complete merging of people with the Ummo civilization.

According to Seem, the Ummites were preparing a massive landing on Earth during the first half of the 1960s. Spain was chosen by them as a springboard for the subsequent large-scale colonization of the planet. Hence, their increased interest in this country. As Riveira found out, in 1961, two detachments of Ummites had already landed in the vicinity of Madrid. In the town of Brunete, they saw tall, silent, fair-haired people in identical dark suits, who kept themselves apart from the local residents and then disappeared into no one knows where. The result of the outing, according to Riveira, was the mysterious disappearance of a bus with tourists. The police did not dare to attribute this incident to the aliens, and it remained unsolved. Interestingly, the Ummites ignored questions about the missing bus in their messages.

An appeal to humanity

Several Spanish and French centers for the study of anomalous phenomena took up the study of the phenomenon. The famous astrophysicist, head of the National Center for Scientific Research of France Jean-Pierre Petit took up the problem of "Ummo reports" in order to expose them as an anti-scientific invention, but, like Riveira, in the process of studying the accumulated information, he changed his point of view. Petit collected several thousand pages of printed text dictated by the Ummites to people from different countries. Among the contactees there were also those who, during the communication sessions with the Ummites, fell into a trance and wrote "automatically", which was confirmed by witnesses.

The Ummite messages contain not only information about the civilization of a distant planet, but also information about the structure of the Universe and its properties. The information, according to Petit, is extremely contradictory, vague and often difficult to understand. Sometimes mutually exclusive information was shared with the same contactee. The Ummites explain this by the fact that it is still too early for people to know about some things, but they still give information about them, albeit in a veiled form, in their messages. According to them, in the near future, people will understand a lot in these texts differently. Petit and other researchers believe that all this paradoxically testifies to the authenticity of the "Ummite reports", which really are an appeal to humanity by some extraterrestrial forces.

Contact terminated

Subsequently, Petit wrote that 95% of his research in physics is the result of ideas suggested by the Ummites.

In particular, based on one of the "Ummite reports", he published three articles in 1988-89, in which he proposed to revise the theory of the Big Bang, since the speed of light is not at all a constant value, and time does not always flow in a straight line and under certain conditions can even turn back.

In 1969, the Ummites congratulated the earthlings on the landing of Armstrong on the moon. However, soon all contacts were suddenly cut off. Jean-Pierre Petit connects this with a possible disruption of the global computer that regulates the activities of the entire Ummo civilization. Others see here the intervention of some civilization competing with the Ummo, which seeks to prevent the invasion of the Ummites on Earth.

In the 1970s and later, new Ummite messages appeared, but, according to most experts who studied them, they are very different in style, manner and quality of information from those that were flowing in the 1960s.

It is worth noting here that one of the main participants in the events of the 1960s, Fernando Seema, is sure that although the Ummites refused to contact, they nevertheless did not stop their activities and continue to prepare the invasion of Earth, planned back in the 20th century.

One of the biggest mysteries of our time

Surprisingly, however, over time, interest in the "Ummo reports" does not diminish, as one might expect, but grows. This is evidenced by the huge amount of information on the Internet on this topic. In recent years, it has even become clear that the Ummites sent their "reports" not only to ordinary people, but also to members of governments, heads of scientific institutes and secret laboratories in different countries. Therefore, the largest intelligence services in the world were involved in the phenomenon. "Reports", apparently, gave a strong impetus to the development of scientific and technological progress on Earth.

Today, many scientists have recognized that the Ummo phenomenon was of a global nature and could not be fabricated by any, even the most powerful, earthly special service.

According to Petit, in the 21st century the importance of the "Ummite reports" will increase even more, influencing scientific thought and the entire course of human development.
