All over the body of the young Chinese woman Li Xiaoyuan, a hard gray hair, like the bristles of a wild pig, began to break through. At first, the hair grew in bundles on the back, but then the infection spread to the hands and even to the girl's face. “Poor Lee! My heart bleeds when I see her suffering,”says Li Jiang's depressed mother.
Dr. Lu Zhuquan, a dermatological surgeon at the Zhaoqing Hospital in South China where the unusual girl lives, believes that the young Chinese woman suffers from a very rare disease. It is expressed in the fact that ordinary moles on the body suddenly begin to grow uncontrollably, and from them, in turn, hair begins to appear. This process signals that something is going wrong inside the body, but it is not possible to understand exactly what the problem is.
“If the birthmarks and birthmarks from which the stubble grows were smaller, it would be possible to“cut”them from the girl's body with a surgical laser. But, unfortunately, the birthmarks are already so large that such an operation will cause profuse bleeding that will be impossible to stop,”says Dr. Zhutsuan.
