A UFO was seen in several regions of the Russian Federation. According to LifeNews, on the morning of April 1, 2016, an unidentified flying object was spotted by duty units of the Sixth Army of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Smolensk Region.

In the area of the village of Yelnya, UFOs were able to detect only military radars. According to the source, the object was moving at a speed of 300 km / h at an altitude of one and a half kilometers. It is also known that the controllers and the command post did not receive information about the flight.

“Presumably, it could be a helicopter of an unknown brand. However, it is possible that it could also be a drone, - notes a source LifeNews.

After the discovery of an unidentified object in the Air Defense Forces, an alarm mode was introduced. The armed forces were on high alert.

According to the source, attempts by the officers on duty to contact the object were unsuccessful.

The expert is sure that there are three probable reasons for the disappearance of an object from the radar line of sight. Professor of BelSU Ivan Oleinik commented on this as follows: “Usually an object leaves the radar coverage area in two cases: in terms of the range of a specific radar, or if it goes below the coverage area of some type of radar. With a speed of 200-300 km / h, taking into account the error of this speed, it can be a helicopter or a light-engine aircraft, including unmanned aerial vehicles."

It is also worth noting that earlier the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked out a version of a ship wreck. A special detachment was sent to the alleged crash site, but searches did not bring any results.
