Ufa is a sunny and blessed city, like our entire region. But even here there are many urban legends, from which mysticism emanates. Ghosts, killer fish and treacherous houses that lure suicides - we recall the most terrible places in the capital of the republic.
House with the ghosts
There are plenty of ghosts in Ufa. At least those who saw them "with their own eyes" are enough. The most well-bred ghost lives in the House-Museum of Sergei Timofeevich Aksakov on Zainulla Rasulev Street. It could not have been otherwise: the wooden building of the late 18th century is saturated with the spirit of antiquity. And the grandfather of the most famous writer of our region simply cannot but be intelligent. Yes, yes, they say that it is the spirit of Aksakov's grandfather, Nikolai Stepanovich Zubov, who wanders the corridors of the family nest and sighs. He sometimes comes into the office. Probably forgot something.
Neloch Ness Monster
Lake Warm in Inors and not on Halloween is very frightening. Either a piranha will be caught there, then someone will drown. But that's not all. They say that a killer catfish lives at the bottom of the warmest lake in Ufa. Its victims - careless bathing adults and children - are easily sucked in by the giant fish entirely. Therefore, they do not find anyone at the bottom - no bones, no clothes. And this catfish is already six meters long. He is not like the average Bashkir adult, he would easily have swallowed the largest Scandinavian, not like their Nessie.

Unborn babies
Novoaleksandrovka in itself is horror. And it used to be, when people still lived there, and now even more so. Abandoned houses, silently gazing at rare guests with broken windows, are always overgrown with legends. The former ambulance hospital No. 16 is popularly called the abortion clinic. Rumor has it that in Soviet times, pregnancies were illegally terminated here, and the victims of unsuccessful operations were buried in the forest - the building is on the outskirts. The last residents left the village 20 years ago. Now it is abandoned and is slowly turning into ruins. But impressionable citizens who have visited the "abortion clinic" claim to have heard the screams and crying of babies. The walls of the dilapidated hospital are completely covered with calls from unborn children: "Mom, I'm scared", "I don't want to die", "Mom, I love you" and the sacred "Children take revenge." Yeah, they themselves came and wrote, exactly.
Warlocks' Tales
Abandoned buildings are worth something to be thought of about. Why else are they left to fend for themselves? Correctly, Ufa residents could practice in a riot of imagination. Everything for us. The observatory building at the Telecentre, abandoned forty years ago, was once a water tower. But everything has changed. Now there are warlocks wielding and performing their terrible rituals. The nearby old cemetery, by the way, the historical and memorial one, gives a particularly gloomy flavor. Local residents chase warlocks: they say, they summon the spirits of long-dead people, and there are zombies here, and, in general, all kinds of evil spirits are found. Do not go, children, to walk in the cemetery.
Swamp house
There is an ominous house in Dyoma, about which they talk like that! It was built in a swamp, and its poisonous fumes inspire residents with a passionate desire to commit suicide. And the methods even list the various ones that several people allegedly committed suicide here. In fact, there really was one case. But for a long time. Maybe a true story, or maybe a fairy tale … Nobody knows what people familiar with ghosts, spirits and all kinds of evil have seen. But, judging by their stories, Ufa is simply teeming with all kinds of representatives of the other world.
