BBC journalist Chris Sandys, 30, filmed a ghostly figure on his camera while visiting the popular Edward Jenner Museum in Burleigh, Glstenshire
“It was a bizarre light-weaved creature standing in a doorway,” Chris says. “I'm sure it wasn't caused by sunlight or dust in the air. The journalist says that he did not see anything in the doorway while filming. And he adds that he values his reputation too much to risk creating a fake.
Museum Director Sarah Parker says that all the workers are amazed at the picture because nothing like this has ever been seen in the museum before.
“We have graffiti left by soldiers who were quartered in the rooms of the museum in the 19th and early 20th centuries, and perhaps it is one of them or even one of the servants of the founder of the Jenner museum. We always thought that ghosts were fiction, but perhaps they are not."
The museum in which the ghost was filmed is dedicated to the famous English doctor Edward Jenner, who lived in the house in 1785-1823. Jenner developed the first vaccine, against smallpox, and came up with a method injecting a harmless vaccinia virus into the human body The first leader of the Smallpox Society in London since 1803 (now the Jenner Institute).
