According to the observations of ufologists, anomalous fogs, or fog-like objects with UFO properties, can appear both near the surface of the earth or water, and in the atmosphere. Quite often, these peculiar UFOs arrange a hunt for ships, airplanes, cars, and mainly for people. One gets the impression that such foggy formations were specially created by someone to kidnap earthlings …

Ominous clouds

Even at the dawn of aviation, there were reports in the press about celestial aircraft encounters with something similar, outwardly almost indistinguishable from clouds. When air vehicles hit such clouds, their instruments went out of order, the pilots lost their orientation, accidents happened to the aircraft, and sometimes they simply disappeared without a trace. One such incident was reported in the United States in 1942. The L-8 airship, piloted by D. Cody and C. Adams, took off from a base in San Francisco to patrol the coast. The maneuvers of the aircraft were followed by many people from boats and ships in the roadstead. Everyone saw how the airship flew into a single cloud that floated across the blue sky. It was then, as it turned out later, that communication with the balloonists was interrupted. And then something very strange happened: the airship never came out of this cloud!A few hours later he was found lying on the coast. The parachutes were in their places, the radio worked properly, the ignition was normal, but both patrolmen disappeared without a trace. It also remains unknown how the airship could get to the beach unnoticed.

A similar episode occurred in 1930 with a small plane taking off from the Texas city of Corpus Christi. “In the almost cloudless sky, - reported the eyewitness F. Dirks, - there was only a small dark compact rounded cloud, which looked, however, somewhat unusual. The plane flew into him and … exploded. The remains of the plane fell five miles from the explosion. The investigation did not establish the causes of the disaster, but the main thing is that the rescuers did not find the bodies of the pilots.

In 1961, an An-2 mail plane with seven passengers on board exploded in a similar way near Sverdlovsk. As in the Texas case, the search engines only found wreckage. The crew members disappeared without a trace.

The cloud was also the reason for the disappearance of one of the American planes in the fighter flight during the 1952 Korean War. The car, driven by the commander of the air regiment D. Baldwin, in front of the crews of other aircraft plunged into a dark gray cloud and remained in it. No one saw her again.

The case with the pilot

Most often, the press and rumor associate such events with the Bermuda Triangle, although, as it turns out, they are typical for other parts of the world.

The case of the famous American pilot Charles Lindbergh was widely known. On February 13, 1928, he flew on his plane from Havana to the Bahamas for research purposes. Flying over the Florida Strait, Lindbergh was surprised to find that the arrows of the navigation instruments began to rotate randomly. Then a haze arose right along the course. She was rapidly approaching, becoming denser. Lindbergh pointed the plane up, trying not to get into the strange fog zone. But he … rushed after him, overtook him and began to envelop the plane. The pilot still managed to break away from an incomprehensible phenomenon, increasing his speed. Then, orienting himself on the sun, the contours of the coast and the map, he found himself flying in the opposite direction. Some unknown force altered its course and deflected it nearly 300 miles to the side.

Lindbergh was still lucky. Others had much worse. Until now, the mystery of the loss in the same area of a flight of five torpedo bombers, which on December 5, 1945, flew from the naval base in Fort Lauderdale (Florida) on a training mission, has not been revealed. Not a single plane returned to base. The dispatchers managed to contact the flight commander for a short time, but his answers were confused and incomprehensible.

Soon after the disappearance of the bombers, the Mariner plane with 13 crew members disappeared, sent in search of torpedo bombers.

Silent death

Ships also collide with anomalous fogs, as was the case, for example, in the area of the same Bermuda Triangle in 1966. An entrepreneur was towing a barge from Puerto Rico to Florida. Halfway through, something unnatural and unpleasant happened: the arrows of the compasses began to rotate like mad, and then the tugboat cars refused. Some mysterious force influenced other devices, including controls. But people were especially frightened by the fog, which thickened unusually quickly - it swallowed up the barge and began to approach the tug at lightning speed. It seemed very strange, because the sky was cloudless and the sun was shining bright.

When the fog began to draw in the barge, and with it the tug, people were seized with real horror. But the undisturbed captain ordered the towing rope to be cut quickly. When the barge unhitched, the foggy cloud almost immediately dispersed, the engines and all the tugboat's instruments started working normally, but … the barge was no longer nearby. Perhaps in the fog she went to the bottom? And the sailors, who had already decided that their last hour had come, sighed with relief. It is clear that no one would have believed this story if the entire tug crew had not confirmed it under oath.

It is possible that it is the anomalous fogs that are responsible for the disappearances of the ships, which for some reason do not send a distress signal at the time of their death. This last circumstance seems especially strange to experts. It has not yet been possible to identify the cause of such traceless disappearances - despite the fact that tracking satellites survey almost the entire surface of the planet from orbit. To understand what exactly is happening to the ship at the moment when it "disappears" is most often hindered by a cloud or foggy haze, which, as if on purpose, appear at the scene.

Ufologists explain such episodes by the meeting of ships with UFOs or anomalous fog, like the one that Lindbergh encountered. Failure of radios and other devices is a typical pattern during these meetings.

Hunting for people

It has long been noticed that although the aliens rule our planet as if they were at home, they nevertheless try to hide their activities from humanity. They carry out abductions with extreme caution. Fog-like objects, according to some experts, are used by aliens precisely for the purpose of disguising this "hunt for people." And it happens most often in places where the "hunters" are less likely to catch the eye of witnesses. These are, as a rule, sea and air spaces or remote, uncrowded corners of the land.

In the air and at sea, anomalous fogs can appear and move quite quickly. Having absorbed the People, they immediately leave with their prey. On land, the "clouds" often prefer to ambush, hiding in secluded places and waiting for the victim (person) to fall into the "nets". Something similar happens, for example, on the uninhabited island of Envaitenet, famous for its fogs, on Lake Rudolf in Kenya. In 1935 two English surveyors landed on it. A few days later, their colleagues, worried about the lack of radio communication with the "islanders", went to Envaitenet, but did not find anyone there. Later it turned out that the natives fishermen had repeatedly disappeared on the island, and even its name, translated from the language of the Elmolo tribe, means "irrevocable."

Ufologists have already considered a textbook case of 1915, when an entire battalion of 266 British soldiers mysteriously disappeared during the fighting in Turkey. Dozens of witnesses saw him marching along the road that ran through the hill. A misty haze enveloped its top. The soldiers, without slowing down, entered it, but never left it: the “cloud” with people suddenly lifted off the ground and rushed upward, acquiring an elliptical shape on the way. Not even a button remained from the battalion.

A similar incident took place in 1937 with three thousand Chinese soldiers defending the city of Nanjing from the Japanese. At night, the Chinese trenches at the bottom of the gorge were enveloped in fog. And the next morning they were found empty, without any signs of people. The soldiers had nowhere to hide, they would not have left the gorge unnoticed. Nanking's defenders were put on the wanted list, but, naturally, no one was found.

Of course, the above examples and dozens of others like them could be explained not only by the presence of aliens. But the facts collected over decades force us, alas, to consider these stories precisely as the work of ominous mysterious creatures visiting our planet (or constantly being on it). They are clearly interested in us and, hiding their true goals, fool us, erase memories of contacts from our memory, use various means of disguise, including such as, for example, these "devouring" fogs.
