A woman who enjoyed a trip to the beach with her boyfriend reported a rather strange UFO experience. The incident took place at Karekare Beach, Auckland on Sunday, March 31, 2019.
However, the young people did not even suspect that this was not the end of their close acquaintance with the mysterious UFO.
The exact nature of what they encountered that night is still a mystery.

Many years ago, a friend of mine, who had already died, invited me to visit, and we stood in the yard, enjoying the evening breeze. All of a sudden I noticed something strange and pointed out what I initially thought was fireworks. There were several flashes of red-orange in the sky, a cell phone would have allowed taking pictures, but that was long before the advent of mobile phones with cameras.
The next day I learned that the "UFO" turned out to be ordinary space debris, it burned up in the atmosphere. This explanation struck me as quite plausible.
