Lanza also believes that our physical body is only a temporary shell, and the essence of human nature lies in pure energy that does not disappear anywhere from the Universe after the death of the physical body. According to his concept, there is an infinite number of parallel worlds, where this energy moves, finding there a new life, which we are often unable to guess in our current existence (incarnation). And there can be an infinite number of such rebirths without any beginning and end of this chain.
And although some scholars considered such a statement "not having a solid foundation and overly egocentric", there are those who hold a different opinion. But philosophers and esotericists reacted especially favorably to the idea of the American biologist, who noted that such a concept was known to ancient scientists and thinkers thousands of years ago and that modern advanced science comprehends and substantiates an increasing amount of esoteric knowledge, which most orthodox scholars consider "delusions" and " by superstition ".
However, in this opinion, scientists are by no means unanimous, and progressive scientists are becoming more and more every year. It is gratifying that after quantum physics, which recognized that Consciousness is one of the most important elements of our Universe, biologists also joined in the comprehension of the new picture of describing the world.
