There are many mysterious phenomena in the world that modern science cannot explain. Among them is the Donald Decker phenomenon. This American guy was making it rain! Of course, sorcerers and shamans of various African tribes can do the same with the help of magic rituals. But the trick is that Donnie made it rain indoors and, as a rule, against his will.

The events described took place in 1983.

Spirit of the deceased

Donnie Decker was born and raised in the small town of Strasbourg, Pennsylvania. He did not remember his father - he left his family as soon as the baby was born.

Donnie and his mother lived in the house of his grandfather, a stern and domineering man who kept in fear not only his daughter, but the whole neighborhood.

It was believed that he was dealing with evil spirits and could easily do something nasty to anyone who incurred his anger. The mother did not really care about raising her son and did not have much love for him.

Donnie did not feel tender feelings for either his mother or his grandfather and tried to spend most of his time on the streets of Strasbourg. Unsurprisingly, he ended up getting involved with bad company, and that brought Donnie to the dock for theft. Decker received a short prison sentence.

At this time, his grandfather died, and Donald was released from prison for several days at the funeral. It is clear that the guy took the news of the death of his unloved grandfather without any pain, and in the cemetery he barely managed to maintain a sad look.

But suddenly Donnie felt bad: his head seemed to be crushed by an iron hoop, and there was a feeling that some otherworldly force had penetrated into his brain and began to whisper threats to Decker in the voice of his grandfather. Later Donnie realized that it was the spirit of the newly deceased who had infiltrated him.

End of light in the Keifers' house

The guy became completely unbearable, and he left the cemetery without waiting for the completion of the funeral ritual. But since his mother forbade her son-a thief to cross the threshold of her house, Donnie went to the family's friends, Bob and Jenny Keifer.

They were not afraid to host the prisoner, because they knew him from childhood and considered him a good boy, just a little lost on the true path. After a hearty dinner, everyone sat in the living room to watch TV. A bottle of whiskey appeared. And the devil pulled Jenny to say a few words of condolence! At the same time, she described the deceased almost as a saint.

Then Donald felt a cold chill in his spine. The room got colder too. Then the guy began to convulse, his body bent in an arc, foam appeared at the corners of his mouth, and his eyes glazed. And then the unimaginable happened: water began to drip from the ceiling, the drops grew stronger and turned into a real waterfall.

Jets were beating from the walls of the room. But where did this water come from? The house is one-story, no water pipes pass over the ceiling. Rain? But the roof is in perfect order, besides, it's February outside, freezing temperatures.

Bob nevertheless climbed into the attic and made sure that everything was dry there, no flood. Then he called the owner of the house, Mr. Ron Wan. He arrived shortly after the call with his wife, Romain. Shocked by what he saw, the owner called the police, hoping that they would help to understand the reasons for this strange phenomenon.

Soon two police officers arrived at the scene, John Bougen and Richard Walbert. By this time, the drops from the ceiling stopped, but the jets of water began to fly horizontally, from wall to wall, at high speed.

The whole room was in continuous fog. In the blink of an eye, the police were soaked to the skin. They stood in the middle of the room, goggling in surprise. Having come to their senses, the police invited the spouses Keifer and Donnie, who had recovered a little, to leave the house and wait for the results of the investigation in a nearby pizzeria.

Having changed into dry clothes in adjoining rooms, where there were no signs of a flood, the trio moved to an establishment across the street. Ron stayed with the cops to try to figure out what the hell was going on in his house.

As soon as Donald left the house, the mysterious rain stopped and the temperature in the living room began to gradually rise.

Rain in the pizzeria

As soon as Bob, Jenny and Donald were seated at a table, the latter began a new seizure. And here the same thing happened: water poured from the ceiling. Then Bob realized who the real culprit was in their house. He rushed to the owner of the pizzeria Pam Scrofano and explained the situation as best he could.

Glancing at Donnie's glazed eyes, Pam realized that the matter was unclean. He took the crucifix hanging on the wall at the cash register and placed it in the sufferer's hand. In places of contact with the metal, the skin smoked and charred, Decker threw the crucifix aside with a cry of pain and came to his senses.

Then Pam decisively ordered the dangerous visitors to leave the room. They left, and the rain in the room immediately stopped.

Wet Chief of Police

Returning home, the couple Keifer and Donald found only Ron and his wife in the living room - the police had already left for the station. The room was completely dry - no sign of the recent incident. Nonetheless, Romijn lashed out at Donald, accusing him of hypnosis and hoax.

And then the guy again "zakolbasas". Cups, forks, and plates flew from the living room table, a serving table rose into the air, and pots and pans rattled in the adjacent kitchen. Donald's body lifted several inches off the floor, and an unknown force began to hurl him across the room, hitting the walls. Subsequently, the marks of three huge claws were found on Decker's neck.

Frightened owners called the police again. This time they arrived, led by Police Chief John Rundle. As soon as he entered the living room, a tight stream of water from the wall fell on him, as from a cannon. After that, the police hurried to retreat, saying that dealing with this was the business of the plumbers, not the police.

Attempted exorcism

Despite everything, the Keifers left Donald, frightened by what had happened and did not understand what was the matter, to spend the night. The night passed without incident. And the next day, a priest came from the Evangelical Church. He was summoned by Ron Wang to perform an exorcism, as he believed that Donald was possessed by the devil.

As soon as the preacher began to lecture, the room grew cold again and it began to rain. Donald, with gnashing teeth and angry curses, was convulsed on the floor. As the priest continued the ritual, the downpour subsided, turning into drops, and then the water disappeared altogether, although the cold remained. And Donald was getting better. The demon seems to have released him from his terrible grip.

The next days, while Donnie was staying with the Keifers, passed without incident.

Miracles in prison

Meanwhile, Decker's vacation came to an end and he was forced to return to prison.

The inmates, having heard about the amazing incident, began to urge him to make Donny rain in the cell. In the end, Donald relented, concentrated - and water began to ooze from the walls of the cell.

The inmates started talking. The guards came running to the noise. They accused Decker of splashing water from the sink on the walls and began to beat him. In vain, he and the other prisoners tried to explain that Donald did this trick only by his own will - they were not listened to. Decker was thrown into the punishment cell.

Then one of the prison authorities, Lieutenant David Kienhold, having heard about the prisoner's amazing abilities, ordered him to make it rain in his office. And what? The lieutenant was sitting calmly at the table when suddenly a misty cloud enveloped him. Soon the guardian of the law was soaked through and through.

Thereafter, Lieutenant Keenhold called in a Catholic priest, the Reverend William Blackburn. Obviously, he turned out to be a more sophisticated exorcist than a priest from the Evangelical Church, because after performing a ritual during which it rained and objects flew, Donald Decker found peace and tranquility.

After leaving prison, Donnie got a job as a cook in a restaurant. Nothing else is known about him. Has he retained his strange and unexpected gift, is he still a man who makes rain? God knows.
