He is said to be right above us in the dark now, beyond the radiance of the Earth. The "Black Prince" is slowly moving along its special orbit, located in the dark. The earth revolves under him, knowing little about this unauthorized parasitic alien. This is the "Black Prince" satellite, a mysterious object of unknown (possibly alien) origin. They have been saying this right above us for the last 13 thousand years.

Like many strange and phenomenal stories, the legend of the "Black Prince" began with Nicola Tesla. He is said to have caught a repeating radio signal in 1899, which he believed to be coming from space, and announced this publicly at a conference. In 1920, radio amateurs could pick up the same signal. Then, a scientist from Oslo, Norway, who experimented with short radio waves in 1928, began to catch "long delay echo" (LDE), not fully understanding the phenomenon of radio signal return a few seconds after the broadcast. The explanation came in 1954, when newspapers published a US Air Force statement announcing two objects in Earth's orbit when no nation had yet been able to launch them. The existence of the "Black Prince" has been attested from various sources and confirmed by the US Air Force.

By 1960, both the USA and the USSR had satellites orbiting the Earth. But on February 11, 1960, many newspapers published an alarming message: "Someone else has a satellite orbiting the Earth." Radar screens designed to detect enemy targets have detected something. It has been described as a dark tumbling object. The satellite was neither American nor Soviet.

The next day, the newspapers published a little more information. The mysterious object's orbit is 79 degrees to the equator, not 90 degrees. The orbit is extremely unusual, with an apogee of 1728 km and a perigee of only 216 km. The mysterious satellite makes a complete revolution around the Earth in 104.5 minutes.

At the same time, the US military discovered a casing from an old Discovery, almost 6m long. Discovery VIII was launched on November 20, 1959, as a rehearsal for the launch of a man into space, followed by separation and descent by parachute. Everything went according to plan, but it was not possible to separate the 136 kg capsule. The capsule casing was detached, as required, and the capsule itself went into an orbit close to the orbit of the mystical satellite of the Earth and was considered lost. The military tracked one of the shrouds, it made a revolution every 103 minutes at an angle of 80 degrees, with an apogee of 950 km and a perigee of 187 km. Close to the Black Prince's orbit, but not quite like that.

Astronaut Gordon Cooper then reported a greenish UFO in 1973 during its 15th orbit aboard Mercury 9. Object was seen on radar screens of NASA tracking station in Australia at least 100 people. The official clarification that followed points to a system error on board and Cooper's hallucinations caused by high levels of CO2 in the air. The reality of the "Black Prince" seemed incredible.

In 1973, Duncan Lunan, a scientist from Scotland, set out to clear things up for sure. He took the long-delay echo phenomenon data from Norwegian scientists and analyzed it. Lunan discovered that the signal was pointing towards Epsilon Boötis, a double star in the constellation Bootes. Whatever the Black Prince is, it looks like he was broadcasting an invitation from people from Epsilon Bootes, an invitation from 12.6 thousand years old, according to Lunan.

The latest confirmation came in 1998 when the space shuttle Endeavor was on its maiden flight STS-88 to the space station. Astronauts on board took many pictures of the strange object, which could be freely seen on the NASA website. But soon, all the photographs disappeared. The images appeared a little later, on new pages with a description that these objects are space debris. The photos are of good quality and it is easy to see that the object is some kind of spacecraft. Since that time, we have known everything there is to know about the "Black Prince". We know where he came from with the mission of the space ambassador, appearance. And all this has been witnessed by numerous observers who took part in space programs.

Then why no one knows about the "Black Prince" and NASA is not able to realize its existence?

The grandiose history of the rotation of the alien satellite "Black Prince", 13 thousand years old, exists in Earth's orbit as much as possible. People often accuse the author of publishing revealing stories like this one. But he does not see it the way it is commonly believed. I just want to know more. Let me open the curtain wider and find out what's going on. The author is not going to end with the words, “This sounds strange. I would like to find a clue to the mystical story of the "Black Prince". For those who view this as a revelation, the author would really like to say that he does not understand why studying the whole issue is viewed as a negative process. The author is delighted with the story and admires what was discovered behind the "Black Prince".

Here's what was found.

It turned out that all parts of the history of the "Black Prince" were not involved in it. The name "Black Prince" is so prosaic that it is difficult to figure out when it became associated with the story of the satellite. It sounds incredible, but the name could have come from any space country, and is so common that it can be associated with any number of real-life projects. From 1958 to 1965, Britain launched 22 rockets while developing launch vehicles. The program was called The Black Prince. But the "Black Prince" did not put anything into orbit, the second stage ended in descent, not ascent. Remove the story name from the equation and all the links in the chain fall apart. All events associated with the mysterious satellite of the Earth are well documented at that time, but there is no name "Black Prince".

Nikola Tesla actually caught the radio signal in 1899, and believed in its cosmic origin. Today we know that Tesla was right. The signal it picked up came from a pulsar, a huge cosmic source of pulsating radio signals. Formally, pulsars were discovered in 1968. Since pulsars were not known at the time of Tesla, a possible assumption was made about the reasonable origin of the source of the undeciphered message.

The Norwegian scientist really accepted the "echo with a delay" and the origin of the phenomenon is still unsolved. Today there are about five explanations, but they are all related to the ionosphere of our planet. These five are among fifteen more or less acceptable hypotheses. None of the hypotheses consider a satellite of the Earth left by aliens. Although, if such an alien satellite recorded a radio signal and broadcast it 8 seconds later, the effect would be similar.

When Duncan Lunan interpreted the received radio signals as signals from space, he had no idea to associate this phenomenon with the "Black Prince" or another orbiting satellite of the Earth. Lunan theorized that the effect was related to one of the Lagrange points, the L5 point. There are two such points in total: L4 and L5. They are located in the orbit of the moon. One of the points is 60 degrees behind the Moon, the other is 60 degrees in front of the Moon, they are stable and demonstrate the effect of gravity. Moreover, Lunan realized the unscientific nature of the assumption and his mistake, abandoning it later. So, contrary to the popularized story about the "Black Prince", there are no connections either with Epsilon Bootes, or with the mystical satellite of the Earth, or with the date 12.6 thousand years ago.

Newspaper reports of two orbiting earth satellites in 1954? Stories sucked by dodgers in support of UFO book sales. The aforementioned US Air Force officer was a person who saw UFOs, but did not in any way express the idea of mystical satellites of the Earth. No connection with the "Black Prince" in question.

The most interesting part of the story happened in 1960 when the Discoveryr satellites were launched. Air Force Secretary Dudley Sharp told the press that this new mystical object was the second enclosure from Discovery VIII, a twin of the previously discovered one. In addition, the appropriate size and in the intended orbit. Soon the data was confirmed. Time magazine even published a confirmation, but since the message was trivial and not sensational, it could be read at the end of the news column.

There is one more interesting note about the Discoverer program. In 1992, one of the CIA programs called Corona was declassified, and it was revealed that the entire Discoverer program was launching Corona spy satellites, not astronauts. The reason for using the polar orbit is the ability to photograph every part of the Earth, as opposed to the near-equatorial orbit, which only captures some latitudes. In those days, there was no technology to transmit images from orbit to Earth. The camera with the film had to return for development and further analysis. For this, the Korona KN-1 camera had to leave orbit, parachute in the atmosphere, where it was intercepted by the JC-130 rescue aircraft.

Although the entire Discoverer program was military, launches and results were published in newspapers and contained truthful information, which became clear after the secrecy was lifted. The Corona chamber and casing were indeed lost from the Discovery VIII, according to newspapers in 1960. Their unusual orbits were also described correctly.

What did Gordon Cooper see from Mercury 9, confirmed by all radar operators? According to Cooper himself, who died in 2004, nothing at all. But there is no mistake that Gordon Cooper has repeatedly reported UFO sightings when he was a pilot. He was sure he saw an entire UFO fleet above him when he was based in Germany, although no one else had reported it. But Cooper is also sure that the message attributed to him about the greenish "Black Prince" seen from the side of Mercury 9 in 1963 is completely fabricated. He posted all of the flight records, including his own originals, confirming the absence of such a report.

The story of Cooper's message is mentioned in almost all books about UFOs and "The Black Prince". But such a record is not in NASA documents, not in the reports of radar operators or other sources, and is a pure invention of modern writers.

What leaves us with the STS-88 flight of Endavor and the stunning photographs of the spacecraft? There are many inaccuracies in this part of the story. First of all, the space shuttle is always in near-equatorial orbit, as is the International Space Station. An object moving in a polar orbit has a speed of tens of thousands of kilometers per hour. Too fast to be noticed and too fast to get some high quality photos. During one of the astronauts' spacewalks, a thermal protective blanket was lost. One side is silver, the other side is black. It was slowly removed, taking on bizarre shapes, and several photographs were taken. Without knowing the origin of the object, you can name anything. But fortunately for the astronauts and unfortunately for the mysterious story,it was not an alien satellite.

The author took great pleasure in doing this story. Studied many previously unknown historical and astronomical facts. It would be wrong to simply accept the story of the "Black Prince" on faith. The author would not have had so much anxiety and so many interesting discoveries. Worse, I would have made a logical mistake by cramming into my understanding an incredible story about an alien satellite orbiting Earth. Neither legends nor revelations are valuable. Only learning the facts really rewards.
