No matter how many “defenders” of the official history there are, many events from our history are either hidden or not explained, otherwise there is simply no information about something.

The year 1816 is probably the most mysterious year from the history known and not quite distant to us. But what happened then? If we start looking, Wikipedia, for example, says that this was the coldest year on most of the Earth, namely in Europe and North America.

That is, from this information we can understand that it was just a very cold year. Because of which? Why? - No information. This is the same as in Russia now, in summer, the temperature will drop to -30, -40 and they will say that this is just a cold year, nothing special.

It would seem that on such a subject as history, in any educational institution they tell a story as a whole, in general about all events, but someone can remember that you were told at least something about 1816?

We are told about everything, but not about the events of 1816. I tried to look for 1816 in the main events of the 19th century, but there is nothing there.

In the main events of the XIX century, various wars, revolutions, the conclusion of alliances, battles are indicated, but in 1816, allegedly, nothing happened. Apart from the fact that according to official information (and official does not mean true), about 100 thousand people died, we can find out this information if we already "dig" deeper.

But now more in detail about the events of that year. 1816, officially documented as the coldest year in the last 500-700 years. And again some kind of inconsistency and oddity begins, which official historians, and indeed any person, cannot explain.

It is officially believed that in 1816 there was a volcanic winter, allegedly there was an eruption of a volcano called Tambora on the island of Sumbawa.

This version was put forward by William Humphreys, an American climatologist and physicist in 1920, now this version, as far as we know, is considered official. Although by and large, no one knows what happened in 1816, since they don't talk about it anywhere, unless you start looking for information yourself.

And now, my main question is - Why was the version of the coldest year put forward in 1920, and not when it happened? But our historians in the smallest events tell about the war of 1812, and the reason for what happened in 1816 was put forward only 100 years later, does anyone think this is strange?

This is not to mention the fact that the version with the eruption of the volcano is indistinct, and it was put forward with doubt. In general, it is known that then, in 1816, people were freezing right on the streets and this very "coldest year" lasted about 3-4 years. And nowhere is such an event told about, is it really not an important event in history?

So what's the conclusion? It is difficult to answer what was the beginning of that very "winter". I will not argue that this is precisely a war, since recently, I was offered a version that in the 18th century, many could die due to the influence of space. But the fact is that something happened then and they don't really want to talk about it, and, apparently, few people know what actually happened then.

It would be interesting to hear the skeptics explain why they don't talk about this anywhere, and the official version of the reason why there was a “year without summer”, in fact, is not.
