British researcher of anomalous phenomena Tony Fergusson, who recently "caught" on his camera the ghost of a hanged man in an old prison in Cornwall, again filmed something paranormal. This time in the ancient caves of Nottingham, famous for the legend of Robin Hood.

Fergusson and his friend set off on a journey through the Nottingham caves known as the "City of Caves". They are located in the historical part of the city inside a small hill on which Nottingham Castle stands. It is a whole maze of tunnels, caves and underground halls. There are now pubs in several Nottingham Caves where you can knock over a glass of foamy Guinness and eat an English breakfast.

In total, Nottingham has about 500 caves, of which only 76 are currently explored, but this number is amazing. According to local residents, the ghosts of innocently murdered people from the past are constantly hovering in many caves, because in England there were harsh customs and people were executed by thousands without trial or investigation.

When Fergusson was filming inside one of the caves, he saw what he said looked like "a ghost in 19th century clothing with a lantern in his hand." The ghost seemed to come through the cave wall. In the video, the figure is very vague, as the video itself is blurry. You can see at first a small light, and then a cloudy silhouette of a hand and head appears.

According to Tony, at first he did not want to shoot anything in these caves, as he came here just to relax with a friend. Maybe that's why the video quality is noticeably worse than in the case of another Fergusson video, in which the ghost of the hanged man was noted.

Promotional video:

Tony assures that the ghost looked at him before disappearing into the wall, and he also made a strange whistling sound. After filming, Tony checked the cave and made sure no one else was there.

It is believed that caves in soft sandstone began to be dug in the 4th century AD and were initially used as housing. Then they were used as toilets, tanneries, housing for the poor, and nowadays as bomb shelters. Over the centuries, they also regularly sheltered numerous thieves and murderers from persecution by the authorities.

“This is one of the strangest places I've visited,” says Tony Fergusson. “People who have seen my video say that I’m probably the only one who captured the local ghost so well, almost full-length.
