I've heard that some people (including famous ones) have seen doubles - either their own or their relatives. True, I have always treated such stories as fantasies. I didn’t believe that I would face this phenomenon myself, and even in my own house.
Our private house has a basement where there is a kitchen, a dining room, a bathroom and another non-living room. One winter evening, I decided to drink some tea and went to the kitchen. To do this, you need to go down two stairs: one leads from the room to the hallway, the other from the hallway directly to the basement.
I started to go down and suddenly I saw my son flashing in the kitchen downstairs. He was jumping up and down from the refrigerator, carrying in his hands some kind of trophy, probably sausage. I thought with annoyance: “I called him to have supper, but he said he didn't want to. And he carries the sausage, just not to do the lessons. I remember a slight annoyance flashed.
I took a couple more steps forward and for some reason opened the nursery door. I looked there and was dumbfounded. My son sat quietly at the table, bent over notebooks and textbooks, dressed in the same clothes in which I had just seen him: in a red T-shirt and gray sweatpants.
I stood still for a while, not daring to go further. Then I went downstairs. The light was on in the kitchen, but no one was there.
I didn't feel like drinking tea. She got up, looked at her son again, he calmly continued to study. I told my husband everything. He calmly replied:
- And I saw my father several times. I walk past him, he is asleep, and I walk up the stairs, he comes down in front of me. Then he hides around the corner and disappears. I saw you and the children. I've never seen my mother.
I remembered: my husband really said something like that, but then I just brushed it off, like, drink less alcohol! And now she herself faced this.
