The Indian boy Verdant Joshi baffled doctors: his right leg has grown to enormous size.
A four-year-old Indian from Gujarat in Western India can walk and even run, but his right leg, weighing 5.4 kg, is abnormally large. Over the years, it was examined by more than 100 Indian and foreign experts who could not determine the cause of the anomaly.
Dilip Kumar Yoshi, the father of an extraordinary child, says: “I have invited specialists from all medical fields: homeopath, allopathic, orthopedic, bone and skin specialists, but to no avail. They are all at a loss.
He added: “Doctors from America cannot even tell us that this is wrong. Some doctors told us that his hormones were imbalanced, while others said that blood was not flowing properly or that it was water retention. But they all fail to tell us what we can do about it."
Verdant himself does not feel any pain in his leg and can walk, run, and even sit on a bicycle without any support, but many doctors have suggested leg amputation.
