Russian researchers suggested that if the entire population of the planet jumped at the same time, it would cause a sound of 200 dB. This will lead to almost instant death of all inhabitants of the Earth.
According to them, if each person separately jumps in different parts of the Earth, then this will lead to nothing. But if all the residents are gathered in one area, then such a jump will cause a sound similar to applause with a sound of 200 dB. The simultaneous jump will provoke a huge crack in the earth's crust, which will lead to the destruction of all structures on the planet, and all infrastructure will be destroyed, the researchers say.
For example, they compared the sound of a fighter jet that has a sound barrier of 160 dB. The sound after a jump of 200 dB will lead to rupture of the eardrums in humans and this will lead to mass death of humanity. And those who miraculously escape will lose their hearing forever. However, such lucky ones are unlikely to be able to live long because of the endless tsunamis and earthquakes that will be the result of the massive jump.
