For two weeks in the village of Sergeevka, Kineshemsky district (Ivanovo region), many people have been observing a mysterious beast. He is ugly, vicious and does not look like any representative of the local fauna.

According to the description of a number of inhabitants of the village of Sergeevka, Kineshemsky district, the animal that appeared in its vicinity has long hind legs and moves by jumping, like a kangaroo. This is where the resemblance to the Australian marsupial ends.

The animal reaches the size of a large dog, it is covered with gray and tan short hair, the back is bent with a hump, a long and naked tail, like a rat's, stretches behind, and its muzzle is narrow, elongated, resembling the muzzle of a dachshund or the same rat. Also, the beast is distinguished by large triangular ears, which always stand upright. In addition to an adult, people sometimes see her cub. He is a copy of mom (or dad), only smaller in size.

If the beast and its offspring were observed by someone alone and once, then this would be the problem of the eyewitness himself. You never know what "squirrel" can be imagined by our brother. However, in the village of Sergeevka, for two weeks now, a strange beast has been shown to almost every second inhabitant.

In addition, Sergeevka is far from the stereotypes depicting a 21st century village. There is no drunkenness, stabbing, poverty, capital residents are in the habit of going here and buying houses here. The legendary cosmonaut, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Alexei Leonov constantly visits Sergeevka, People's Artist of the USSR Mikhail Ulyanov loved to relax there. As for the natives of the village, they are also positive people. Basically, these are Dyachevites who have dachas in Sergeevka. Dyachevo is just a stone's throw from here.

In a word, the testimonies of the inhabitants and guests of the village deserve attention and serious analysis. Some kind of "unknown little animal" in Sergeevka started up, this is indisputable. But who is she?

- A week ago I saw an adult, but from afar, when she ran across the field, - says Svetlana Lifanova, a resident of Dyachevo, who has her own house in Sergeevka, - and this Sunday I met a cub. I was walking with my daughter along the mown field and I saw a cat sitting in the grass. I said to my daughter: "There is a cat sitting there." Then we look, and the animal has risen, stretched out and it is no longer a cat, but it is not known who. Thin muzzle, ears are big upright. We didn’t linger, we went. I think if there is a baby, then the mother is somewhere nearby.

Svetlana Ivanovna is sure that the animals she saw have recently settled in the vicinity. Just two weeks ago. She is also sure that it was not foxes or dogs that caught her eye.

Promotional video:

- What have I not seen the fox? - she reasons. - Yes, they can get sick now, no one shoots them off, they can run tattered, but this chupacabra is much larger than a fox. And you can't call her a dog either. It has a tail like a rat and moves like a kangaroo by jumping. We have, on the contrary, here a stray dog disappeared the other day. As this chupacabra appeared, the dog disappeared. She ate.

Svetlana Lifanova convincingly calls this strange animal a chupacabra. A popular monster now, nothing can be done. But we, in our turn, will not hurry with the names, but will listen to other witnesses. The most successful of them are Irina Lukyanenko and her daughter Oksana. They had seen both the adult and the calf several times already, two of which were intense.

“The first time we saw the animal, we thought it was either a skinned dog or a skinned fox,” shares Irina Lukyanenko. - My daughter even tried to call him "kut-kut", but he grinned. My eyesight is poor, but Oksana saw that the animal's front paws are like human hands. Their fingers are long, with long claws.

Irina Ivanovna calls the animal a hybrid, an incomprehensible cross between different animals. In the description, she also notes that it is possible to meet him only in the evening.

“This weekend my daughter and I saw him near the main building of the Reshma sanatorium,” she continues. - A young mother with two children was walking there. A boy of five and a girl, one year and three months. We look - this animal sneaks up to them. Straight sneaks up! We shouted at him and he ran away. And yesterday (July 27 - editor's note) we were specifically looking for him in order to photograph him. They saw it, but, alas, it didn't work out to take a picture.

The first eyewitness of the strange animal was Elena Potekhina, a resident of Dyachevo. She has a dacha in Sergeevka.

“Outwardly, the animal looks like a chupacabra, the images of which are on the Internet,” says Elena Potekhina. - I have already reported what I saw to the police, to the administration of the Reshemsky rural settlement and to the administration of the Kineshemsky municipal district. Who knows, maybe this is a mutant from Galkino?

People in Sergeevka are scared and confused. According to the above-mentioned Svetlana Lifanova, yesterday, July 28, even a police squad visited the village. It is for the soul of the "Chupacabra".

But Peter Melkozerov, a resident of Dyachevo and owner of a summer residence in Sergeevka, notified the regional leadership of the society of hunters and fishermen about the beast. This is in case there are any negative manifestations on the part of the beast, for example, if it begins to choke chickens and rabbits. Then the hunters will arrange a raid on the intruder.

“I heard, heard, but I haven't seen it myself,” says Alexander Vasin, a Muscovite who moved to Sergeevka. - But four years ago I saw such an animal on the Moscow River in the Borvikha region. We fished there once, heard a resounding splash, thought also that a drunken fisherman had fallen, and looked closely - an incomprehensible animal was swimming. Then they wrote a lot about it, and then it turned out that it was a capybara. Someone kept her at home, she fled and took root in the Moscow River.

Unfortunately, the example given by Aleksandr Yurievich is not suitable for our history. The reason is that the capybara has no tail, neither long nor short. And our beast also has a tail that immediately catches the eye of eyewitnesses.

Who wound up in Sergeevka? We expect to learn the truth during this week. One way or another, read more detailed material in the next issue of 168 Hours.
