Two commercial aviation pilots said that on December 26, 2016, flying over the coast near Atlantic City, which is located in New Jersey, they observed a UFO for 10 minutes and even tried to communicate with it using the plane's side lights.
“I looked up and saw a very bright blinking light. I immediately told the co-pilot about him. From his answer, I realized that he saw the same thing as me … “What the hell? What is it?”- said one of the pilots.
The pilots reported this to the National UFO Center (NUFORC), a UFO investigation organization headquartered in Davenport, Washington. Their plane was flying from New York to Miami that day, the weather was clear and the visibility was excellent. The UFO sighting took place at 21:30 180 km east of Atlantic City. According to the description of the pilots, the unidentified object was 5 times larger than the brightest star they saw, and moved at an angle of 35 degrees to the horizon.
“At first the light moved north and then turned back south rather quickly,” the pilot said. “We saw a white UFO flashing red-orange from time to time.”
“We turned on our lights several times. It seemed to me that he was responding to our signals, although perhaps it was an accident. None of us have seen anything like it before."
The pilots knew they had to report a UFO collision to the air traffic control center.
“We were going to report a UFO, but after consulting, we decided not to. Neither me nor the co-pilot have an explanation for what we saw. We tried to shoot a video, but we failed."

Indeed, pilots often refuse to report UFOs, especially because their names may become known and they may lose their jobs, and in the case of piloting commercial flights, they fear that passengers may sue them.
It is possible that these two pilots saw much more on December 26th than they are willing to tell, without even mentioning their names. Maybe some of the passengers on their plane saw a UFO? Was their plane encountering a UFO just a coincidence? Time will tell.
