The Essenes Scrolls Tell About the Life of Jesus and His Postulates

We know that the four canonical Gospels (Mark, Matthew, Luke and John) were written later (at least a century later) in the life of Jesus Christ, in whose reality, as a historical character, in general, there is no doubt, as well as the fact that he was an outstanding, knowledgeable person (man, God or God-man - this is already a matter of faith, not science). These Gospels were written by people who did not know Jesus personally, but judged from hearsay, moreover, the Gospels were repeatedly copied and completed. In addition to the four canonicals, there were about 30 more that were not included in the Canon (apocrypha). Key among them is the Gospel of the Essenes …

The Essenes Gospel is the first part of a four-part work found in the secret archives of the Vatican and translated from Aramaic by prof. Edmond Bordeaux Sheckley. The document dates back to the 2nd century. BC e. - the beginning of the 1st century AD

In the Gospel of the Essenes, the essence of Jesus' teachings is set forth somewhat differently than in the four canonical ones. Here is a brief summary of its main theses.

Jesus preached that the main power in our world is love, and that this power is omnipresent and not limited to a kindred framework: "God is love."

He taught not to worship "dead" scriptures, but to live a happy present, to meet the requirements of the times.

Jesus recommended to worship the Heavenly Father and the Earthly Mother, that is, honor your spirit and your body. For this, he recommended to the disciples a special set of sacred actions, which included ablution and fasting (3 days and 7 days). Descriptions of the process of the fasting of Jesus' disciples are given in full detail.

The Essenes lived in such houses

Jesus recommended keeping a healthy rhythm of sleep at night and wakefulness during the day. And also that a person should move a lot physically. “For everything that has life in it is moving, and only that which is dead immovable. But God is the God of the living, and the Deceiver is the God of the dead."

Jesus suggested abstaining from excesses in everything, and especially in food. He spoke about healthy eating as important for a person.

You need to chew food dozens of times, slowly. In this way, one loaf of bread can feed 5-6 people to their fill (but, of course, not 5000 - as the hypertrophied image entered the canon). Many passages from the later Gospels are distorted beyond recognition by quotations from the Gospel of the Essenes.

Jesus taught that obstacles to the attainment of exaltation of the spirit are caused by the presence of physical poisons and demons in the human body (literal translation of "essences").

Jesus describes the final result of the above methods as follows: "And then your Heavenly Father will give you his holy spirit, and your Earthly Mother will give you her holy body." “And then all evil and all sorrow will disappear from the earth, and there will be love and joy on the earth. And it will be when the earth is like heaven - the kingdom of God will come. And then the Son of Man will appear in all his glory to inherit the kingdom of God."

Jesus said: “First, follow only the laws of your Earthly Mother that I told you about. And when her angels cleanse and renew your bodies and strengthen your eyes, you will be able to endure the light of our Heavenly Father. " “Trust me, the sun is like a candle flame next to the sun of the Heavenly Father's truth. And therefore, have faith and hope and love."

Jesus explained the imperfection of the "previous" laws of Moses and the contradictions between his teaching and his own, that at the time of Moses the Jewish people were at a rather low level of development, and could not accept high ethical laws. Therefore, Moses formulated his commandments for the Jews in a greatly simplified form.

It can be concluded that the Gospel of the Essenes is closest not to the letter, but to the spirit and truth of what Jesus actually preached …
