On the Internet, you can find dozens of articles about people with amazing ability to walk through walls. All articles have a common drawback - the lack of specific data: names, surnames, dates. Meet Janusz Kwalezek. His unusual ability was not only documented, but also studied in a scientific laboratory.

Railway track case

End of the 19th century, Poland. Boys are playing football near the railroad tracks. The ball kicked by someone ended up on the rails. The 10-year-old boy, hot by the game, rushed after the ball, not paying attention to the approaching train: "I will be in time!" Once on the tracks, he bent down, grabbed the ball, straightened up - a locomotive was advancing right at him in clouds of steam. The players watching all this were seized with horror.

When the train passed, they saw their friend standing on the other side of the rails with the ball in his hands. “Well done, I did it!”, They enthusiastically slapped their friend on the back. Janusz smiled and did not know what to answer - he was definitely sure that he just had not had time.

Lost fishing rods

Two years have passed. “Janek, you wretch! Did you take my rods ?! " - "I didn't take it, grandfather, honestly, I didn't!" But the grandfather did not believe it and locked the disobedient grandson in the closet. The boy was just furious - well, he did not take those fishing rods! And today they all were going to go to the Vistula for a swim, and Kazimierz promised to bring and show a new American knife that his father gave him, there are four blades in the knife, an awl and scissors! Janusz rushed about the closet like a tiger. In a book he recently read about David of Sasun, the Armenian hero Mher the Younger in anger took and went into the rock. "Mother Bosca!" The boy threw himself at the wall … and found himself outside.

Soon, the parents stopped punishing their son, locking him in a closet - the boy, in an incomprehensible way, managed to get out of it every time. They tried to lock them in the bathhouse - the same result. Parents gave up and removed house arrest from the types of punishment.

Penetrating Through Walls

In 1905, 25-year-old Janusz Kwalezek was arrested by the police for participating in a strike and taken to prison. Four days passed, and a document was laid on the prison governor's table that “the arrested Janusz Kwalezek was put in a punishment cell for violations of the internal order, from where he disappeared in an incomprehensible way”. He was caught, put in jail again - and again he "escaped". Kvalezhek earned a reputation as a "man who penetrates through walls" and became a hero of newspapers.

In 1922, fate brought Kwalezhek together with the Polish theoretical physicist Heinrich Shokolski. The meeting took place in prison (and where else!). Kvalezhek was constantly detained either on suspicion of theft or as a robber - Janusz joked that this is how he pays for his gift, a professor at the Shokolsky University was detained for participating in student unrest.

The Polish scientist became interested in an unusual cellmate and, like everyone else, asked the question, how does he manage to escape from prison? Hearing in response “I just know how to walk through walls” did not laugh, but took the words seriously. With this he bribed Kvalezhek.

Pan Shokolsky among his colleagues had the fame of an eccentric from science, he was interested in phenomena that science could not explain and therefore did not recognize: poltergeist, telekinesis, transmigration of souls, etc. He asked and questioned his cellmate: what does he feel when wall? Does he do it on an empty stomach or with a full stomach? Can he pass through walls at any time of the year or day? Does it depend on his mood? And in the end he asked Janusz to demonstrate his abilities. On the same night prisoner Kvalezhek disappeared once again, and Shokolsky saw with his own eyes that it was possible to go through the wall.

When the scientist was released, he found Kvalezhek and invited him to his laboratory to participate in the study of the phenomenon of teleportation. Janusz agreed.

Shokolsky's research

Kvalezhek passed through the wall in the presence of Shokolsky and his laboratory assistant Adam Stankevich dozens of times. The scientist recorded that during the experiments the subject's body temperature and heart rate changed. “Leaving”, he left a fatty imprint of his body on the wall, just as a person leaves prints of his fingers or his palm on objects. Kvalezhek passed through wood, brick, concrete and all other materials, with the exception of glass.

The scientist put forward the theory that Kvalezhek has the ability to create a certain field around him, within which matter changes its properties. However, none of the numerous devices recorded the manifestations of this "X-field", as the scientist called it.

Shokolsky was delighted and planned a series of experiments, but the study was never completed. Once Kvalezhek entered the wall and did not come out from the other side. Apparently, the Pole stumbled between the worlds and stayed there forever.
