Over the past 10 years in the Kuban, five times the local media recorded eyewitness reports about the appearance of Bigfoot. It turns out that at least once every two years, the Yeti goes out to people. And in different places - on the Lagonaki plateau, in the Crimean region, near the Azish caves.

Once he was even seen in the botanical garden of one of the universities. A local resident managed to make plaster casts of huge traces left by a creature unknown to science.

Riddles "Belovodya"

Just a few hours by car from Krasnodar and you are in the village of Kamennomostskiy, Maikop district of Adygea, whose territory is completely inside the Krasnodar Territory.

The ethnographic complex "Belovodye", which was built by the dentist Vladimir Melikov, is located here, with a park of exotic plants and a swan pond, a restaurant and a hotel. The "Exhibition of Unusual Finds" is also called the "Bigfoot Museum". Entrance - for donations (whoever can).

Striped raccoons live in cages among the stones, and black decorative boars roam around wooden sculptures. What is missing in Melikov's collection!

- Like Koschey, I wither over my treasures, - the owner jokes. - Once on the shore I found strange artifacts: archaeologists say it could be an egg and a dinosaur embryo. It happens that people themselves bring antiques. For example, an ax from the times of Ivan the Terrible, an ancient sword, an iron. And recently I got a huge stone worm and a giant ammonite (a fossil mollusk, whose age is 300 million years). Even UNESCO is interested in such treasures.

There are ancient stone millstones, a bear's skull, a bison's head, fragments of a dolmen everywhere. And in a gloomy basement, Melikov reproduced the Bigfoot's cave dwelling, carved according to the descriptions of eyewitnesses.

By the way, if you are going to the "Yeti Museum", then on the way look into the Khadzhokh gorge, which is in the gorge of the Belaya River. You can admire the canyon from the observation platforms. The Rufabgo Falls are also nearby. And nearby, in the Absheron region, in the interfluve of the Belaya and Kurdzhips rivers, is the Big Azish cave. In beauty and grandeur, it surpasses many of the underground complexes.

Wool as material evidence

The most famous exhibit of Melikov is plaster casts of footprints of an unknown creature. It was for the sake of this discovery that even the famous traveler Nikolai Drozdov came to "Belovodye".

These tracks on the slopes of the nearby Meshoko ridge were discovered by boys in 1998. Huge footprints in a chain stretched for 1.5 km and led to the stream. Here he found a clump of wool and passed it for analysis, which he later regretted. The "clue", alas, was lost. After that incident, he was even summoned to the police and demanded to hand over plaster prints. But they just survived.

“It is simply impossible to imitate the footprints of the Bigfoot, having prepared the shape of the trail in advance, and" stamping "them on the shallow snow captured by the frost for several kilometers is simply impossible, - Melikov is sure. “Besides, there were no other tracks on either the right or left. The footprints are odd, with 5 toes, but the foot is not concave like humans, but curved. As if they have some kind of "fat pad".

Twice more cases have been recorded of the meeting of mysterious traces in the mountains of the Western Caucasus by tourists - in the area of Mount Alous and the canyon of the Tsitsa River.

An expedition to find Bigfoot went to the Alous Pass. So far, no one has ventured to the Tsice River canyon with such a mission: the area is wild, untouched, with many caves and waterfalls.

And this year, Bigfoot has become active again: this time in the vicinity of the Vodopadny shelter. His tracks were reported to the Ministry of Emergency Situations by tourists. Melikov again took casts, and on the bushes he found a clump of grayish-brown wool, which he has so far placed in the museum.

Meeting with the unknown

Last summer scientists and television men from Japan came to "Belovodye". We lived in a hotel and roamed the foothills. They confessed that they found strange "burrows" and branches connected in a special way. It is assumed that this is how the Yeti mark the territory (a kind of "memory knots").

Locals who had a chance to encounter Bigfoot admit that at the same time people are seized with panic and numbness, as if under hypnosis. Fear is transmitted to animals - dogs suddenly start barking, and a herd of horses can suddenly jump off the spot and rush right through. And the local stove-maker, after meeting with the yeti, completely lost his mind.

Those who saw the Bigfoot say that he is more than 2 meters tall, all covered with thick black or red hair. He has a squat torso and muscular arms that hang down to his knees. Moves on two legs dexterously and quickly, makes sounds in the form of a whistle, turning into a growl. The head is rounded, massive, tapering upward, set on a powerful torso without a neck. The facial features are quite human, the eyebrows are very thick. He does not know how to use fire, although he is not afraid of him and boldly approaches the fire.

Another feature of Bigfoot was recorded by researchers - it is the transmission of their thoughts and commands from a distance. An ordinary person feels his gaze, being a few tens of meters from him.

Honored traveler of Russia Ivan Bormotov recalled that for the first time as a real biological species Bigfoot (Homo troglodytes - "caveman") was recognized in 1735 by the Swedish naturalist Karl Linnaeus. And in 1958, a commission of the USSR Academy of Sciences was created to study the question of Bigfoot.

- Even with extensive information, we do not find an answer to the question: who is he? - says Bormotov. - The primitive form of man, miraculously preserved to this day, a relict hominoid, a blind branch of the evolution of the human race, a living Neanderthal?

Caucasian chronicles

One of the first reports about the capture of a Bigfoot in the domestic press appeared in the 60s in the publication "Information Materials of the Commission for the Study of Bigfoot" edited by Professor Boris Porshnev. It tells the story of the colonel of the medical service Vazgen Karapetyan, who claimed that in 1941 a strange humanoid creature was taken prisoner in the mountains of Dagestan. Times were difficult, and, according to the source, the Yeti was mistaken for a saboteur or a feral deserter and, most likely, shot.

In 2008, the press of Kabardino-Balkaria reported about the sensation. In the Chegem Gorge in the North Caucasus, a female yeti not only came out to people, but also tried to molest men. In the vicinity of the village of Elbrus, according to local residents, everyone has seen a Yeti at least once.

And in 2011, the Minister of Labor and Social Development of the republic Bagauddin Marshani told reporters that in the Dzheyrakh region of Ingushetia, local border guards were trying to catch a strange two-meter-high creature that looked like a gorilla.

In 2012, the guardian of the botanical garden of the Adyghe State University discovered huge footprints and a clump of light brown wool on the fence. At the same time, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded reports of the appearance of a Bigfoot in the area of Mount Oshten and the upper reaches of the Tsice River.

In 2015, footprints of Bigfoot were found near the city of Adygeisk. Local residents also managed to shoot a video. The plot shows how something covered with wool flashes between the trees. The news also appeared in the British Daily Mail.

By the way

In different countries of the world, Bigfoot is called differently: yeti - in Tibet, guli-bani - in Azerbaijan, chuchuns - in Yakutia, almas - in Mongolia, ezhen - in China, kiik-adam and albasty - in Kazakhstan, goblin, shish and shishiga - in Russia, shurale - among the Tatars, Arsuri - among the Chuvashes, abnauay - in Abkhazia, girkychavylyin - in Chukotka, sasquatch - among the Indians of Canada, orang-pendek - among the Sumatrans, kakundakari or kilomba - in Africa.

Master of the Merchand Forests

In 2011, a local resident Uso Sadoyan with his son and two friends saw a creature covered from head to toe with thick black hair in the forests of the Merchand rural settlement of the Crimean region near the Kuafo River. Its height is about 1.8 meters, it moved in huge leaps towards the thickets. The head of the rural settlement then even gathered hunters to hunt down the yeti, but to no avail. Found only prints of bare feet, 33 cm long. A chain of footprints led to the Stepnoy farm.

It is interesting that the village of Shapsugskaya is located nearby - the legendary anomalous zone with its dolmens, the mysterious Devil's Finger rock and many more mystical places.

Vladimir Melikov is convinced that this footprint belongs to the Yeti
