Police in Bremen, Germany, are looking for witnesses who may have photographed or filmed an unidentified flying object recorded by local airport radars last Monday.
“After the radars of Bremen airport recorded an unidentified flying object on January 6, the police launched an investigation into the unauthorized interference in the air traffic and are looking for witnesses who could have recorded a UFO in a photo or video,” the message says.
At about 6.30 pm local time last Monday, controllers at Bremen airport called law enforcement officials after their radar spotted a flying object in the sky over the city that did not respond to radio signals from the ground, police said. Because of this, the operation of the airport was complicated for several hours, several flights were canceled. At about 21.00, the UFO disappeared from radar.
According to local media outlets, a drone could be a suspicious flying object. In this case, the person who operated it on the ground could face up to five years in prison for disrupting air traffic. Observers do not exclude extraterrestrial interference.
