The harm of instant noodles "Doshirak" is greatly exaggerated. This conclusion was reached by specialists from the Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology, who studied the composition of the product.

It is indicated that the noodles contain wheat flour, salt, starch, palm oil (it is noted that it does not harm a healthy body, although atherosclerotic plaques can form due to saturated fats). Also present are sodium carbonate (baking soda) and sodium polyphosphate used to regulate acidity.

Elena Semichenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies of the Reshetnev Siberian State University, noted that there is little benefit in white wheat flour, which makes up noodles. “Flour consists of grains, which, in turn, contain a germ and a shell (in the most simplified form). When processing grain, the amount of fiber and vitamins in it decreases. It is best to use whole grain flour whenever possible,”she explained.

The broth, in addition to water, starch, salt and palm oil, contains preservatives - potassium sorbate (potassium salt of sorbic acid) and sodium benzoate. In addition, monosodium glutamate is present, but it is indicated that there is more of it in any steak than in Doshirak.

It is noted that in the quantities in which various substances are contained in the noodles, they do not harm the body. However, it is impossible to constantly eat only "Doshirak", because it does not contain enough proteins and fats.
