Russians were few and rare at these gatherings. Last year Sergei Guriev sat with them, earlier - Anatoly Chubais and Grigory Yavlinsky. There are no Russians this year, and that's good. But Russia is on the agenda of the forum, and among those present are the heads of the main Western oil companies, also hostile to Russia. In 2012, they set out to prevent the creation of the South Stream - they preferred the pipe from Qatar through Syria and the Bosphorus. There is no South Stream yet, there is no pipe from Qatar, which means that the struggle will continue.
