And then, he arranged the forcible baptism of Russia with "fire and sword", destroying several million Vedic Rus in the course of a bloody civil strife, the death of which, together with the burning of many Russian cities, was later blamed on the mythical "Mongol-Tatar invasion" and super speed.
Of course, the truth about those events will not be written in our textbooks. After all, the Christian church "Prince Vladimir" is declared "saint" for all this. But he did not limit himself to the destruction of the Vedic Rus. Christianity allowed the princes to move from an elective system of government to a hereditary one - totalitarian. Moreover, it made the Shudra slaves, who were preoccupied with their selfish material interests, equal citizens. And it was precisely such people who went to serve the princes for money, even reaching the boyar estate, laying the foundation for corruption in the current Russian "elite". And it is quite probable that at the court of "Prince Vladimir" his former compatriots passed a similar service. However, Vladimir himself perfectly understood that Judaism would not take root in Russia, and therefore chose its branch - Christianity - as a religion.
