Who Runs America?
The Great Seal of the United States, depicted, in particular, on the one-dollar bill, has given rise to many myths. The reverse side of the seal, which depicts a pyramid crowned with the All-Seeing Eye of God, surrounded by two Latin sayings, attracts special attention of conspiracy theorists. Annuit Coeptis refers to the All-Seeing Eye and means "in accordance with the beginnings." The second expression, Novus Ordo Seclorum, is a quote plucked from Virgil meaning "New order of the centuries." Conspiracy theorists know that if you inscribe a six-pointed star in the circumference of the reverse side of the seal, then the upper ray will point to the All-Seeing Eye, and the five remaining will point to the letters M, A, S, O and N, thereby indicating the true owners of the federal treasury.
