Rebbe Yosef Berger, Rabbi of King David's Tomb on Mount Zion, initiated a special project to create a golden crown that will be presented to the Messiah King upon his arrival in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Berger, a direct descendant of King David, explained that the founding of the State of Israel and the Six Day War were sheer miracles and that we are today living at the beginning of the Messianic era, as miraculous signs continue, and only recently there have been five.

In addition, at the beginning of December, representatives of 70 nations arrived in Jerusalem on the holiday of Hanukkah to participate in the consecration of a stone altar prepared for use in the Third Temple.

Now, after symbolically uniting 70 peoples around the world around the Temple project, the creation of the Moshiach king's crown will hasten the arrival of the messiah.

“For 2000 years, Israel has been waiting for the Moshiach (Messiah),” Rabbi Berger says in a special exclusive interview with BIN. "As a token of our belief that this waiting period is over, we must prepare the crown as the first act of the Moshiach will be the restoration of the Davidic dynasty, which will be clearly different from any other royal dynasty that has ever existed."

Berger is very interested in the project. He is the son of Rabbi Shalom Berger, spiritual leader of thousands of members of the Miskolc community of Hasidic Jewry. Rabbi Yosef Berger can trace his family lineage, from father to son, right back to King David. To illustrate the special character of the Davidic dynasty, Rabbi Berger quotes the Prophet Zechariah:

“And Hashem will be king over all the earth; on that day there will be one Hashem with one name. Zechariah 14: 9

“The law established by the Moshiach will unite all 70 nations, bringing them to Mount Zion to serve Hashem (God),” says Rabbi Berger.

The rabbi emphasized that the King of Israel would ensure that the expulsion of the Jews ended and everyone was gathered so that the Temple was built and the services restored there.

“We are commanded to foresee this, to pray for this,” says Rabbi Berger. “The Midrash (homiletic teaching) says that the generation that anticipates and yearns for the Kingdom of God will receive redemption. However, this expectation is greatly enhanced if it is accompanied by physical action."

Rabbi Berger noted that amazing efforts have already been made to restore the Third Temple, and even absolutely all the utensils necessary for services are ready. However, so far only the crown is lacking for the Messiah, who will build the Temple.

"The creation of a crown for a king is unprecedented," says Rabbi Berger. “When all 70 nations unite in an act of love directly intended for the king in Jerusalem, there will undoubtedly be Hashem's answer. In this generation, when it becomes clear that the coming of the Messiah is near and inevitable, or rather, he is already here and is just waiting to open himself - we need to prepare our hearts by performing actions that strengthen our faith."
