How is it all to add, multiply, divide. And also in it, as it was called, in "Boolean Algebra", some new actions appeared. It is also called "logical mathematics", since 1 and 0 are "Yes" and "No". Men's mathematics, everything is clear, and Boole invented it on the basis of formal logic. Later, the weaker sex also connected to it, as a result of which, apart from "Yes" and "No", a third state arose in it: "Maybe." It should be expected that it will be supplemented with the states "I will look at your behavior" and "Shoes", but this is the business of future mathematicians.

Mnd, but it all ended - nothing. Well, Boole developed it, gave a talk on curious algebra. Its development was handed over to the archive, the author was given well-deserved honors, enthusiastic students with their ideas stuck to it. But there is nowhere to apply it, although it is a good thing.

A hundred years later, Computers were invented. Computers also have two states inside: 0 and 1. This was dictated by the very design of the first computers: the relay is off - this is zero, "no". The relay has turned on - this is one, "yes". The same was true for vacuum tubes (there is / no voltage on the grid), for transistors (open / closed), and for modern microcontrollers and processors. Their memory cell is either saturated or not, the domain on the magnetic tape is rotated or not, and the computational part itself consists of the same saturated / no microtransistors.

Well, well, they came up with the first computer: it occupies the first floor of the building, relays click, click, magnetic tapes spin, eats so much electricity that you cannot save enough, but: it can already remember something. Yes / no. And here in this computing bulk with relays the Boolean algebra pulled from the archives, based on yes-no, 0 or 1. And its application in computers gave a powerful breakthrough to the development of computers, ideally fell. Now they all count in zeros and ones, and every time we tap the screen with our finger, we make the processor do a lot of calculations in Boolean algebra. And the king of all computer languages: Assembler is its direct embodiment.

But in fact it is also a universal galactic code. If we encrypted our messages in ordinary mathematics, from zero to ten, then … How do we know what kind of mathematics the aliens have? For us, "just over half" is six. And for other civilizations it may be "three" or "18". And the binary code is clear to everyone. The light is on, no, the star is on, no, the hole in the storage medium is punctured, no … Around us a lot is based on these binary states. This code should be understandable to any creature in the universe, because it is based on the very physics of the universe.
