The Darlington City Theater has long been considered a hotbed of supernatural activity. This time, the photographs showed two ghostly figures sitting in the stalls.

Julian Kund, head of marketing for the theater, said he was not surprised at all.

“There are many ghost stories that have been seen and heard in the theater several times,” he said. - Once in my office I heard a child crying, but I knew about these stories and was not afraid. There are probably other explanations, but I am pleased to think that these ghosts love our theater so much that they do not want to leave it."

Returning to the photo taken by the contractor doing the renovation of the Edarian building, Julian Kund added: "I don't think the people who took these photos were afraid, they were probably a little surprised."

Darlington City Theater is a popular destination for ghost hunters who spend whole nights in the theater hoping for one of the ghosts to appear.

Most often, the ghost of Senor Rino Pepi, the first executive director of the theater, who died a few hours before the performance of the ballerina Anna Pavlova in November 1927, and the stage worker Jimbo, who died entangled in the ropes behind the scenes, walk around the theater.

But the crying Victorian girl, who is called Arabelle, chose office number 12. It is believed that she lived in a house that existed on this site even before the construction of the theater.

Other ghostly theatergoers include Jimmy Fliman, who always appears over the stage, the old doorman Gordon, and perhaps the most unusual spirit of the little Peking dog brought to the theater by Reno Pepi in 1907. Her ghost was seen running around the theater.
