Pakistan's Federal Secretary for Climate Change Mohammad Jawid Malik said in an interview with reporters that his country is one of the world's eight most vulnerable to climate change.

Malik said he has information that the recent incidents on the Siachen glacier, in which Pakistani soldiers died, were not at all to blame for snowstorms and avalanches, but laser beams aimed at the glacier from one of NASA satellites.
The Pakistani official's accusations are based on the fact that since 1993 American scientists have been working on an ionospheric research program.
