The researchers of the Cosmopoisk association do not name the exact place of the find, fearing black diggers. According to the head of the association Vadim Chernobrov, in the course of field research, a real underground city was found, in which the height of the halls, reminiscent of the Moscow metro, reaches 10 meters.
Also, two entrances under the rock and branched underground passages were discovered, while some of the objects are of natural origin, and some are of man-made origin.
“Perhaps they intersect, but equipment is needed to pass them - and this still complicates our expedition. So far we haven’t got to the bottom of the huge halls and confirmation of the legends”, - V. Chernobrov explained on the air of“New Kuban Television”.
In the near future a large expedition from Moscow will study the underground city. According to the estimates of enthusiastic researchers, the age of the find is from 1 to 3 thousand years.
Experts are skeptical about the unexpected find of ufologists. “If we are talking about the Novokubansky district, then there are coastal terraces where there can really be caves. But every hole in the ground does not mean an underground city yet,”commented in the archeology department of the Krasnodar State Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve named after Felitsyn.
Scientists note that the population of the Kuban since ancient times was made up of nomadic tribes, for whom the creation of such structures is not typical. In addition, the connection of this object with the builders of dolmens is also not obvious, because dolmens all over the world were created no further than 70 km from the sea coast.
