The original researcher of the secrets of the past, Andrei Sklyarov, in the book "Inhabited Island Earth" briefly mentions an interesting fact - it turns out that the Indians of Mesoamerica have a myth that completely repeats one of the strangest biblical stories. The myth of the "Tower of Babel" stands apart from the legends of the ancient patriarchs and prophets; it is not associated with any of the ancient kings or other legendary personalities. This is not surprising, because this tradition is not Semitic at all, it was borrowed by the ancestors of the Jewish people from the Sumerians, during the period of "Babylonian captivity."
Usually it is associated with real-life ziggurats of Mesopotamia, which supposedly made a huge impression on the simple-minded nomadic pastoralists. The only strange thing is that no less majestic Egyptian pyramids did not make the same impression on the ancient authors of the Bible and are not associated with any myths. Although the ancient Semites also visited the land of the pharaohs and the Sphinx, about which historical evidence has been preserved, and this story is described in the text of the Bible.

The coincidence of the story told by the Indians with the biblical one is striking. In ancient times, a people build a huge tower to reach heaven and become equal to the gods. The alarmed gods (in the original text of the Bible it was the plural that was used) send a calamity to the builders of the tower, which forces them to abandon the construction site and do other things. The well-known biblical version of this disaster is multilingualism, the Indians talked about something else, but they also do not talk about the physical destruction of everyone who took part in the construction.
What could serve as the basis for this myth and why, unlike the story of the Flood, which is found in the legends of many peoples around the world, the Tower was known only in these two places of the globe, located almost opposite each other?

Imagine a certain island in the Pacific Ocean, where aborigines live and live. Suddenly, huge ships come to him and planes arrive, from which people of a very strange kind are unloaded, from whom you can get hold of many unusual, but very useful things.
This is not a fantasy, it was so in the XX century, during the Second World War, when due to the war between the Japanese Empire and the United States, even the smallest pieces of land in the ocean could acquire strategic importance. Subsequently, when the Americans sailed from such islets, scientists who visited them after many years discovered various manifestations of the so-called "cargo cult" (that is, the cult of cargo delivered to the islands) - the natives carefully reproduced control points and built model aircraft to them these iron birds began to fly again and the flow of goods returned to the island, from which valuable nishtyaks fell to the natives.

Is there anything else in common, besides the Tower myth, between the Indians and the Sumerians? Yes there is. In these corners of the earth in ancient times, huge structures were built in the form of stepped pyramids and towers. For this, giant stones were used, the human labor costs for their construction were simply enormous. Moreover, apart from the cult significance, there was no practical sense in the construction of these buildings.
Isn't it a striking resemblance to a cargo cult? The aborigines clearly copied something that referred to the gods who once visited their land. Moreover, the gods did not come empty-handed. The gifts of these gods turned out to be so attractive that people did not spare any expenses for their return for not even centuries, but thousands of years.

If we reconstruct the myth, we get the following picture. A highly developed inhuman civilization living somewhere in another world has found a way to get to Earth (and possibly to “heaven”, that is, to an arbitrary place in the Cosmos).
For this, a kind of "tower" was used - either a structure or a device of enormous dimensions and resembling a stepped pyramid. At what time this happened and how long the contact with earthly tribes lasted is unknown. But since no material traces of it remained, this was in ancient times - before the so-called Flood (a giant tsunami that struck many continents) and the last Ice Age, which destroyed all material evidence of the existence of the gods on Earth. It is possible that the two-pronged cataclysm (glaciation was most likely directly related to the incident that caused the Flood) is also somehow connected with the activities of the aliens or the very fact of their stay on Earth - for example, if they were struck in this way by their enemies …

Was the "tower" a spaceship? Maybe not - the spaceport could have such a shape, or some portal structure that "pierced" the Earth through and through and had exits in two places - Central America and near Mesopotamia.
Be that as it may, after the Ice Age, aliens did not attempt to return to Earth on the same scale as before. Why? This question is difficult to answer. Either the valuable resources that they mined here have been exhausted, or the earth's climate has become too uncomfortable for them. Maybe the reason was not in the Earth, but in themselves, about this we can only guess.
