A little more than a week has passed since the parade in Moscow in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The sacred date for Russia this time was subjected to open information attacks from the West - the US State Department struck out the USSR from among those who made a decisive contribution to the defeat of fascism, and American satellites like Poland and Ukraine declared the Soviet Union guilty of unleashing a war on an equal basis with Germany. The pro-Western Russian liberal opposition did not lag behind, scolding the authorities for spending on the parade and predicting the outbreak of COVID-19 among spectators who visited Red Square.

However, the so-called oppositionists and their patrons in the West were defeated - the military managed to hold the celebrations safely and at the highest level.

“The security organization during the parade was at the highest level. Despite the large crowd of people, the measures taken did not fail and there were no more cases. We can only thank the organizers of the parade for their colossal work to preserve the health of citizens and our veterans who attended the event.

Of course, the additional security measures required additional costs. But let's not forget that the Victory Parade is a holiday, albeit with a touch of bitterness. Moreover, this year is an anniversary one. Therefore, the country's leadership simply had to organize an event at the highest level and coped with it brilliantly. Naturally, funds were spent on this, but they were not wasted.

The feat of our veterans and those who gave their lives in the Great Patriotic War should be honored in a dignified manner. The event really turned out to be solemn, beautiful and festive,”Major General Sergei Lipovoy, Chairman of the Presidium of the“Officers of Russia”organization, Hero of Russia, told Constantinople.

Moreover, no matter how Western propaganda workers competed in anti-Russian attacks, the celebrations in Moscow aroused admiration even among ordinary Europeans. This is evidenced by the reviews of American citizens and British subjects, who commented on the photo report from the parade in The Daily Mail.

“They don't paint monuments! They don't blacklist them! They have a different attitude than we do. Their generals will not kneel out of solidarity! - wrote one American.

“It’s nice to see a nation that respects its past, unlike many countries in the West,” says a commentator from British Manchester.

According to the historian Vladimir Kornilov, it is time for Russians to stop paying attention to the attacks of liberals, who do not care what and when to criticize.

“It goes without saying that liberals, they are also Russian liberals, that they criticize the authorities no matter what happens. They laughed when the parade was canceled: "Ha ha, scared of the virus." As soon as the parade was appointed, they began to rip their shirts off and shout: “God, how many people are going to die!” The main thing is more pathos and tears. Accordingly, they don't care. There would be a parade - they would criticize, there would be no parade - they would criticize, this is their whole essence, "said Kornilov.

A week after the parade, the liberals found a new target for their attacks. Now they do not like the monument to the Soviet soldier, recently opened near Rzhev.

The sculpture is disparagingly compared to characters from science fiction books.

“I would like to say the following: there are people who are constantly trying to offend and challenge everything that is proposed and done by the country's leadership. It feels like their goal in life is to belittle everything that is dear to a Russian person, everything that arouses some kind of high feelings. It makes no sense to prove something to those who are choked with their own negativity. Looking at the monument, our children and grandchildren will remember the unprecedented feat of their great-grandfathers in history,”Lipovoy said.
