Semyon Alekseevich Zolotarev, born on February 2, 1921. Member of the Great Patriotic War. Graduated from a university in the city of Minsk. Physical education teacher. Tourism instructor of various tourist centers. Order bearer, member of the CPSU. He died along with the rest of the tourists in the Subpolar Urals. Near the pass 1079 named afterwards Igor Dyatlov Pass.
There are many rumors about this man. So the journalists of the Komsomolskaya Pravda publication believe that Semyon Zolotarev played someone else's role. This, allegedly, was his brother Nikolai. Who served with the Germans in the SS troops. The former adopted daughter from his mistress, accused Semyon of being a domestic tyrant. On the scandalous show "Actually" Zolotarev was suspected of having forced his partner to send his son to an orphanage.
On April 22, 2018, the remains of Semyon Zolotarev were exhumed at the Ivanovskoye cemetery in Yekaterinburg. Allegedly with the aim of establishing his relationship with alleged relatives. The results were highly questionable. The first examination completely ruled out the relationship, but a second examination confirmed this relationship by 90%. As a result of faith, none of them exist.
I tried to answer the question, who was buried in the cemetery in Sverdlovsk? For work I used an archive of documents. Some of them are no longer published in the public domain, although they are still found in the repository files.
1. Analysis of photographs. For work, I used photographs of the war and post-war times. In the period from 1942-43 to 1946. And a couple of pictures from a later period. Photo overlay method gave 100% similarity of photos. That is, the soldier Semyon Zolotarev in the 1943 photograph and in the 1946 photograph (demobilization) is the same. Only matured a little. All physical criteria were matched. This is one person. Consequently, the legend that it was not Semyon who returned from the war, but his brother Nikolai, is 100% wrong.

2. Passport Seeds. At the request of the administration of the university in Minsk, he was given a passport in Minsk. Therefore, in his homeland there is no record of the issuance of new documents. Let me remind you that Zolotarev was registered in the village of Glubokaya of the Krasnodar Territory of the RSFSR.
3. Zolotarev was fluent in several foreign languages. Including German. All this later became the basis for yet another legend about Zolotarev. That he was a German agent. In fact, he never was.
4 4. Dentures. In the photographs taken during the 1959 campaign, no gold fixes at Zolotarev are visible. Therefore, this part of the legend is impossible to prove. Although at the autopsy of Semyon's corpse, the expert described such prostheses. They were also found during the exhumation of Zolotarev's remains.
5. Comparison of handwriting and signature of Semyon Zolotarev. I took various documents. Different years of his life. It turned out that his signatures are identical. There are only minor differences. Which appeared due to the fact that his signature is distinguished by a complex spelling. The letters from his handwriting are absolutely identical. That, also, excludes any manipulation with his personality.
Output. The real Semyon Zolotarev lies in the grave at the Ivanovsky cemetery in Yekaterinburg. And not his missing brother Nikolai. All other statements are completely false. I admit that my theory that Semyon Zolotarev was not at the pass was also a mistake. However, the fact that Semyon was fluent in foreign languages does not exclude his use in SMERSH intelligence. So, this part of his biography will remain a secret for us forever.
