Once I went far into the woods to the sawmill for boards at work. Thunderous rain was coming, and I turned back. Suddenly lightning struck the tree, it caught fire and fell. Again I had to turn the car around and find another road. I turned, drove for a long time, and did not understand why the road was so long. And it was already late, almost eleven in the evening. Suddenly I saw a girl in a thin white dress, all wet.
I stopped the car and asked her what she was doing in the forest so late, and even in the rain. To this question, she answered me that she was just walking. I invited her to get in the car and give her a lift. She agreed. We drove for about twenty minutes, I ask her:
- Why is the road so long, is there a village nearby?
After that, she went the other way. I turned the ignition key and the car started. And within five minutes drive I saw the glowing windows in the houses. I stopped the car at the first house. After knocking, a rather young woman opened the door for me. I asked if it was possible to spend the night, offering two hundred hryvnia, she agreed. Suddenly I saw photographs on the wall. And he asked her:
- And who is this?
