In the historical region of Romania - Transylvania - not far from the small town of Cluj-Napoca, you can find a forest covered with many secrets and legends. For a long time, residents of nearby settlements have tried to bypass the Khoya-Bachu forest and not appear there unnecessarily. And this mysterious forest is often called the "Bermuda Triangle" of Transylvania. The reason for the appearance of this name is the repeated cases of the disappearance of people in the forest.
The Romanian forest is named after a shepherd who periodically went there to graze a flock of sheep. In his flock, as a rule, there were at least two hundred heads of animals. Once, due to a suddenly descending thick fog of yellowish-gray color, the shepherd imperceptibly went to the forest edge. No one else saw him or the sheep. Surprisingly, it was not possible to find even any remains of animals or a shepherd. They also found no traces of violent death. Local residents believe that there are places in this Romanian forest that are temporary portals, from which no one has yet been able to return. Perhaps it was in such a place that the shepherd with the sheep landed.
The story of the missing shepherd was far from the only one. Similar incidents, when people disappeared in Khoya-Bachu, happened later until today. So relatively recently, a couple of young people in love decided to take a walk in the mysterious forest and see for themselves in his paranormality. By the morning of the next day, only one girl returned home. And she was in an inadequate state. She could not remember anything about what happened in that forest, and where her boyfriend had gone. This story was immediately reprinted by various publications of the country, putting forward hypotheses and explanations of what happened. But there is still no official answer.
Another feature of the forest is the frequent occurrence of UFOs flying over these places. One of the most famous cases occurred in the summer of 1968. A company of four people went to Khoya-Bachu for one day. Suddenly, the friends saw a round flying object in the sky, silently and slowly moving right above their heads. Suddenly, the object lit up and quickly disappeared into the sky. Some of the eyewitnesses managed to take several pictures, which were later called the clearest photographs of UFOs in Europe. After the examination, it turned out that the photographs were not fakes.
A biologist who has been researching the flora and fauna of the Khoya-Bachu forest for ten years also talked about unexplained attacks of fear and panic. In addition, according to him, in the forest you can hear strange rustles, sounds and even voices. Other eyewitnesses reported hearing children's or women's laughter, coming from the very thick of the forest. The same biologist stated that he saw an incomprehensible greenish-blue glow and a yellow-green fog suddenly enveloping it. Unexplained objects were also seen in his photographs. It is not for nothing that these photographs were almost immediately seized by members of the Romanian special services.

The trees of twisted and deformed shapes give additional mystery and even fabulousness to the Khoya-Bachu forest. And in other places where there are no trees at all, paranormal researchers have noted high anomalous activity. Ufologists from all over the world come to this unusual Romanian forest. And, perhaps, someday someone will give a scientific explanation of the incidents and phenomena taking place here.
