After the death of my husband in 2012, I live in my house alone, except for Yulka's cat.

The daughter has grown up a long time ago, she has her own family. And the cat lived with me for 12 years, I took her as a little kitten. She always tried to be next to me and practically did not leave me.

It was the end of June, and it was extremely hot outside. I came home from work, opened the front door and was stupefied: a smell hit my nose, which I would not confuse with any other - the smell of death.

It smelled the same a few years ago on the eve of her husband's death, this smell disappeared only after the body was taken out of the house. The husband was still alive and was not even in the house for some time, and the smell of death was already felt, as if she had come to us for her victim.

I tried to ventilate the rooms, but the smell never faded. And the next day I got sick, I got a high temperature. In the morning I still went to work. The cat Yulka accompanied me to the gate. Since then, I have not seen her again.

In the evening, the neighbors called me an ambulance, it turned out - a ruptured cyst in the kidney. I was taken to the regional hospital, where they had an operation. The doctors later said that they literally pulled me out of the other world.

When I was discharged, the neighbor said that my cat had died, he remembered the smell of death. It turns out that she came for me, but then for some reason retreated, and did not want to leave empty-handed! Took the life of my cat in return for my life.

However, my story does not end there. About a year later, I smelled death in the house again. Now I already knew exactly what it was for! I was sure that death had come for me.

And then I burst through! It's good that I live alone, otherwise they would have thought that I had lost my mind. I screamed, addressing the invisible death:

- Why did you come here again ?! She took almost all of them, a little more ?! Came for me ?! Well, I do not! I won't go with you! Get out of here! Forget the road here! Go away!

Having shouted enough, I slowly calmed down. And literally an hour later the smell of death disappeared from my house. I think that now death will not come for a long time, I managed to scare her.
