On October 4, 2014, the first reconnaissance trip to the Krasnopolsky district of the Mogilev region (Belarus) took place, where information about the new anomalous zone was collected and its initial instrumental reconnaissance was carried out.
According to preliminary data obtained from fairly reliable sources, in the area of the village of M. there is a section of forest in which it is very easy to get lost. Those who got lost there told that they had visions - either a big bustling city, or majestic cathedrals from which chants were heard. Often, people lost their way "in the three pines" saw all sorts of horrors, which subsequently led to insanity and even death.
In our practice, however, it often turned out that the more mysterious a case gets into our field of vision, the more ordinary it turns out in the end. This unspoken rule can be conditionally ranked among the unwritten laws of Murphy. But each rule has its exceptions …
Grud tract
Arriving in the village of M., we immediately met a local resident, Mikhail Petrovich Valuev (born in 1953), with his mother, who told us that at about 11 pm on a winter night this year, some kind of "Headlight" in the sky. This light source hung in one place, and a bright beam from it hit at an angle to the ground. After some time, the UFO began to shift to the side and disappear. The eyewitness's mother also saw the "Searchlight". This end of the world lasted for three days and never resumed.

Khadinko Valery Ivanovich (born 1960) told us about other anomalies of these places: “I know the whole forest here, every bush, but if I go to one place in the forest - we call it the Grud - then I can turn around and never go out. At least three people have told me similar stories. One of my acquaintances came to me from the side of the cemetery - he said that he himself did not understand how he got there. No matter how you loop, it is very difficult to get out of the forest to the cemetery. You get there and that's it - you will be whipped and you won't go home so easily. We even said that you need to change your shoes when this happens. We have already written about the motive of turning over when entering the “other world” or meeting the devil.
The brother of the interviewee also confirmed that he had wandered on the Gruda more than once or twice. At the same time, no one could understand how it was possible to get lost in the forest, where on one side there was a road, and on the other - the bed of a dried-up river and impassable swamps. These are all excellent landmarks.

Another man by the name of the King (who is no longer alive) once went to the forest, and he was gone for 2-3 days. After his return, he said that he was caught there by some "man" and … killed. Then he broke the branches and poured them on top. In the morning the revived "corpse" woke up in only his underpants, but he did not remember where to go home. Miraculously, he went into the village, when he was examined, they did not find a single scratch on him, it seems that everything that happened was some kind of delusion.
You will go to the left …
The place, which is called the Grud tract, is localized by local residents very accurately. It begins behind the so-called dried up Stone Creek, if you walk parallel to it along a small path for horses. According to local residents, during World War II bloody battles took place here and many soldiers were killed. And, which is typical, it is mainly those who leave the path to the left that wander. Carrying out measurements in the tract.
When examining an anomalous forest area, slightly increased levels of radiation pollution were revealed - up to 30 μR / h (the dosimeter was assembled on the basis of an Sbm-20 counter, tenfold repeatability, single measurement error - 30%). The BE-meter-AT-002 device (frequency range 5 Hz to 2000 Hz, error ± 20%) recorded a short-term flash of electric field strength up to 25 V / m, which may indicate the possible presence of a magnetic anomaly in this place. Is it any wonder that the surge occurred at the moment when we turned left from the path?
No deviations were detected using the SOEKS "Impulse" electromagnetic field indicator (frequency range 20–2000 Hz, error ± 15%). But the strange behavior of this detector is worth mentioning, because with a fully charged battery it worked for only 10–20 seconds and turned off. It should also be recognized that these devices are designed for indoor use, so all measurements should be considered preliminary.

During the survey, V. I. Khadynko, we managed to record an equally interesting message that can add to the collection of facts about the so-called "crop circles" in our country. It happened “after Chernobyl” (that is, 1986) - the inhabitants of many villages in the Mogilev region divide everything into “before” and “after” the Chernobyl disaster. The event took place, according to an eyewitness, in the Kormiansky district of the Gomel region, not far from the Sozh river flowing there.
Earlier, there was a police post near the pontoon bridge and the law enforcement officers who were on duty there in the early morning, behind their site, found a burnt circle in a meadow in the river floodplain. They remembered that in the evening they saw some kind of glow and an unusual white cloud that rose from the field and "went" upward. Rumors about this quickly spread among the local population.
Thus, as a result of the reconnaissance expedition, a site in the forest was identified, which is considered "prodigal" by local residents. The measurements carried out preliminarily allow us to state the presence of a magnetic anomaly here. At the same time, we would like to lay down soil profiles here in the future, as well as take wood samples and compare them with geological and dendrochronological data collected by us in previous years in other places.
Now we are working on a program for further study of the tract, including the possibility of organizing a full-fledged expedition here.
