In history, you can find many legends telling about unusual curses, but the legend of the American presidential curse is very interesting and instructive. Legend has it that the sent punishment is associated with the Shawnee Indian tribe, who lived in the modern states of America Ohio, Oklahoma, Kentucky. Note that US presidents have long been considered the most influential world leaders, so the curse of a simple Indian leader was not taken seriously by them for a long time.
The young American state, having celebrated its victory in the confrontation with the strongest power - Great Britain, began to barbarously take land from the Indians. New Americans shamelessly drove the indigenous people out of their lands, not stopping to kill civilians. In 1795, the white colonialists signed an agreement with several large groups of Indians to transfer the rights to the vast territory that had previously belonged to these tribes.
But not all Indian tribes surrendered to the new inhabitants of the territories. The Shawnee leader, Tekumse, did not accept the impudent seizure of lands by white aliens. After ten years of constant hostilities, the leader created a military alliance of tribes ready to defend their freedom and independence. The Shawnee leader urged his fellow tribesmen not to recognize enslaving agreements with the conquerors and not to support the way of life imposed on them. Brother Tekumse possessed the skills and knowledge of the ancient shamans. When he predicted an eclipse of the sun, and this event happened, the number of soldiers who joined the Tekumseh troops increased significantly and they began to pose a serious threat to the Americans. And in 1810, General W. Garrison began military action to clear the Indiana lands from the Indians.
Let's say right away that there were tribes that agreed to a deal with the commander. And only Tekumse threatened the general with war and did not recognize the signed agreements. The leader threatened the Americans that he would negotiate with the British and offer them his help in returning the colonies. While the leader was gathering forces, adding Cherokee and Seminole warriors to his troops, the general marched with an army against the rebellious Indians. In the first battle, the Indians suffered a crushing defeat. Tekumseh sent several prisoners to the general's camp, who passed on the curse of Tekumseh to the general. The leader predicted that Garrison, who dreamed of taking the presidency, would die as soon as he achieved his goal. And every subsequent president elected in a year that can be divided by 20 will die before the end of his term of office. The leader also indicated the term - up to the "seventh generation".
The Tekumseh fulfilled his threat, and in 1812 he joined the British with his warriors. He participated in numerous battles in which the British won victories. But in 1813, the British betrayed Tekumseh and he died.
Garrison celebrated the victory - he managed to take over twelve thousand square kilometers of land from the Indians. Yes and the future fate of General Harrison also seemed to be successful: he held the posts of governor, then became a congressman, but was elected president only in 1840.
In March 1841, he delivered a long inaugural address. And although the weather was cold, he performed without a coat and headdress. Two days later, a cold illness brought him to a hospital bed. Blood poisoning was added to the pneumonia, and soon Harrison died.
So the first victim of the fatal prediction was William Harrison. Although it is unlikely that the former general and his entourage remembered the curse of Tekumse.

James Garfield, unfortunate enough to be elected in 1880, also suffered from the curse. Only a year he managed to rule the country, then the bullet overtook him. Although the wound was not considered fatal, due to medical errors, the president died after three months of barbaric treatment.
The curse overtook the fourth contender - he turned out to be W. McKinley, who took the highest government post in 1900. The ominous prediction has not spared the fifth victim - Warren Harding, who was elected to the presidency in 1920. Three years later, after taking office, he died of sudden heart disease.
F. Roosevelt was the luckiest among the damned presidents. He was elected to the presidency several times, including 1940. But the successful official was overtaken by the curse of Tekumse - he died in 1944.
The final victim was John F. Kennedy, who took over as president in 1960. Everyone knows the story of his death. After Kennedy's death, it would seem that the curse of the Indian leader, which had been in effect for more than 150 years, ceased to operate.
In 1980, President Ronald Reagan was wounded. It is not known what helped the head of state: whether health care reached a higher level, or the curse lost its relevance, but Reagan survived.
Why did the leader curse the presidents of America up to the seventh victim? It turns out that the number 7 in esotericism is considered as the last step in a certain round of development, and 8 is already the beginning of a new round. Perhaps after seven presidential deaths, the leader's curse began to weaken?
George W. Bush's presidency also cannot be called calm. The famous Tunisian astrologer predicted that an attempt would be made on his life. It is not known what helped George W. Bush, but he did not fall victim to the Islamists who sent a plane to attack the White House on September 11. A second attempt took place in May 2005, when a mentally ill person threw a grenade into the podium where the president was at the time. But Bush was lucky again.
And since all the US presidents are still in trouble, we can say that the curse of the leader is in effect, but his "destructive power" has become much less. Although it is possible that the consequences of the curse can be much more insidious than one might think.
